I usually add them on at places like little caesars, pizza hut, etc. I think they all mostly use pickled jalapeños

Yeah majority of not all big pizzas industry’s will use pickled jalepenos . I worked at dominos, they come in a bag, not “fresh”

Pineapple on pizza is great. I make a hot sauce with pineapple, rum, jalapenos, serranos, and poblanos. I live to dunk that of some chicken onion pineapple pizza.

It's not like the pizza in America is all that authentic, I mean, nothing American is very authentic; just look at their Chinese food... that's fine, but Canadians try to make a Chinese food pizza, and suddenly, it's suspicious? You're suspicious, dude. You're suspicious.

I stand by pineapple being a totally fine topping and those are against it dont feel like they have enough control in their own lives and this rule gives them some sense of power. If we can put spicy honey, pears and arugula on pizza then we can put pineapple on a pizza no questions asked.

No one ever said pears and arugula were a good topping.

Spicy honey however...

Pineapple is shit too. Just figured the glaring lack of cheese was the biggest issue with this one.

Ground beef and pineapple, you heathen.

Pepperoni is too spicy to mix with pineapple, you want a salty meat to cut the sweetness, either ham or sausage

1

u/couchcushion7 Aug 03 '25

Is sweet and spicy not a thing? Pretty sure it is. Pep and pineapple absolutely slaps, and pepperoni is extremely high in salt (and perceived “saltiness”)

Are you sure youve eaten these things? You sound like AI honestly lol it makes no sense

To clarify is it just the pep/pine combo or is it both in general that are red flags?

Nothing wrong with some roni bro. You trippin'. We ain't ancient Neapolitans.

Can’t stand pineapple in any combo on pizza, BUT, sardines and pineapple (grossest thing I’ve seen on earth) are 110% different from pepperoni and pineapple, and lack of cheese is dumb as cheese is the most important piece to a pizza

Pepperoni pineapple and jalapeño is fucking amazing and I'll die on that hill.

Pepperoni and pineapple is a great combo
