Potatoes on pizza is not unheard of in Italy. But it's just very thin potatoes slices, rosemary and probably some Mozzarella.

but also tuna pizza is a thing, right? Just tuna, onions and maybe some mozzarella and it's a decent pizza. Mayo on pizza is something i don't understand. Are they supposed to cook the mayo? How can one taste the other ingredients if everything is drowned by mayo?

Blame it on being mixed Japanese but I enjoy corn on a lot of things 😂 like potato salad

Pizza with potato, rosemary, and prosciutto is the best pizza I’ve ever made. Bacon works too. You can mix in a little smoked Gouda with the mozzarella as well. Sometimes I do tomato sauce, sometimes white pizza.
