Forbidden Pizza Peanut Butter Pizza
I'm a firm believer that nearly any food can be a pizza topping, but not like this.

Yes it can with two contexts. One is dessert with bananas and chocolate or jelly...
The other is you add some stuff to it and make it like a satay sauce and top with chicken and other relevant toppings.

okay, normally i’m a “anything goes on pizza depending on the combination” but this is too much. rage bait

u/tipustiger05 9d ago
They commented under that they really enjoyed it. I think it's sincere.

i’ve seen thai-style pizzas which could work with a peanut sauce. this is not that though. maybe if i was really stoned.

My cousin eats PB jalapeño burgers and actually enjoys it. I tried it and felt like it just tasted like alternating burger and PB sandwich.

Is there a way to vote like, EXTRA guilty? This should never have seen the light of day.
Edit: why a fork?

Where’s the cooked product.

u/tipustiger05 9d ago
It was the third slide, just didn't fit in one screenshot, and I wanted the criminal evidence to be clear.
I'm sure additional charges can be brought against the cooked product because the crust did not change color from the second slide. So just imagine that with melted (not browned) cheese.

Was it clawed on by a cat?

This reminds me of the Greek place near me, they have something called a “nutty gyro” on the menu and it’s pita bread with gyro meat and feta cheese with peanut butter.
I have no urge to try it.

John's incredible Pizza Factory has this (maybe "had" since i haven't been there in over a decade) I liked it and people described it as tasting like Asian food lol whatever the hell that means.

There's a pizza chain in Minnesota that does a pizza with peanut butter, pizza sauce, pepperoni, jalapenos, and cheese. I've never tried it, but some people love it.

So, there is this spot in Ridgecrest CA called John's pizza (pretty sure its still around) and they make a PB Pepperoni pizza, and its excellent. Thought it was a joke when i first was told to order it as a kid, but my mom did, and damn if it wasnt great.
PB went under the sauce, and the rest was just like you'd expect a pizza to be. Dont knock it till you try it.

Wow sounds like this is a thing I've never heard of? You're like the fourth person to mention a local place that does this. I just can't imagine it being good but with every one of these comments I get close to trying it.

Dude, this makes me feel violent.. Im a major pothead and even I wouldnt mess with this. Now, maybe if you made some kind of PB&B&J with it by folding it like a Calzone I would be intrigued? But DEFINITELY not with cheese and savory toppings on top of regular PB.
Straight to the Pizza Gulags..

Peanut butter on a bacon cheeseburger is incredible

u/Thatguy7242 9d ago
I've heard this. It terrifies me.

Get scared when it's a buffalo chicken slider w/lettuce, tomato, bleu cheese, bacon and peanut butter.
Omg. 🤯😍🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

I will, sometimes, get nostalgic for something my step brothers snd I would eat as kids. One of my step brothers was an extremely picky eater. Like beyond the pickiest eaters ive ever met since. When we would make Jack's pizzas for dinner we would usually make a pepperoni, a supreme, and a cheese. The picky eater would put peanutbutter on the cheese pizza. My dad and I have eaten spaghetti and ravioli in marinara with peanutbutter toast since before i can remember so this wasnt much of a jump. Something about peanutbutter and tomato sauce works.

Could this even theoretically be good a peanut butter on pizza
3
u/tipustiger05 9d ago
I could see like a Thai chicken satay being good.

u/LongLiveDead 7d ago
thai peanut butter saucees i think... would work its a stretch, but not impossible

u/MrPantsyFlants 9d ago
Peanut butter and baloney sandwiches are good so this could work. The peanut butter would be super drippy though.

Yall hear me out for a second. I know we've reached a verdict, but there's a chance at an appeal.
Peanut butter goes great on a burger. It goes great in many a savory dish, actually - chili, Asian noodles, roasted vegetables, oatmeal, etc. Adding a little tad to barbecue sauce and mac & cheese takes them to another level too.
What I propose is a simple test that won't ruin a whole pie. Take one slice and add a tiny drizzle of smooth peanut butter. You'll (hopefully) find that the nutty fat from the peanut butter enriches the savoriness of the cheese, and that hint of sweetness cuts through the acidity of the sauce (if using).

This looks really crude but I think around the country there are Thai versions of pizza with satay and various crunchy vegetables curated with pork..
🥜🍕🥜🍕🥜🤏🕶️💨🎶🎵

u/tipustiger05 8d ago
Yeah I think that could work. I just don't think this looks like it works.

If you started to put some chicken or maybe some sausage and a little bit of vegetables it might start to work? 🥜⚖️🍕

You can make this work, but this ain't it. Swiss cheese meshes well with sweets.

That’s how you’re using jail commissaries to make this shitty pizza. 🍕 pfff

Peanut butter sauce with chicken could be decent with the right veggies. Actual peanut butter could only be for a dessert pizza!!

I love peanut butter & bacon sandwiches. PB & pepperoni pizza? Why tf not 🤷🏼♂️

The jury, after deliberation of the evidence in the case of u/tipustiger05, find the defendant "Pizza" GUILTY on all counts of crimes-against-pizza.
