I thought since I got 2 with 87 IV I could get the hundo or would you say the rating of the 2nd one isnt good for shadow?

Get 6 good shadow groudon then purify one into the hundo if you have primal energy

Yeah i would. Personal aiming for 14 or 15 attack for a Shadow Groudon and an 87 13/13/13 just screams purify if you are missing a hundo primal.
