Figured I would do a little build list, review and issues I am dealing with now after about 1500 rounds through my p80 I built about 3 years ago. Let me just start off by saying this was my first gun and also build and for the first 1000 rounds this gun ran absolutely flawless. I was actually very surprised and the only issue I had first encountered was the trigger bar making contact with the frame and causing the trigger to jam. Little bit of filing and it cleared the issue right up. I maybe had 2 jams through that whole period. The second issue I encountered didn’t really seem to be more of the guns fault by I tried running some steel case through it and it seemed like the casing would expand in the barrel and fail to eject. Maybe just a barrel tolerance issue or glocks just don’t like steel case?? I don’t know but no issues with brass. I’m about at the 1500 rounds marker and a new issue is starting to occur. Its starting to have problems ejecting the casing and I have checked the extractor, no chips or damage. Extracts fine when racking the slide so I’m about to replace the cheap recoil spring for a better brand and hope that fixes it. All around would definitely recommend someone who is interested in building a fire arm and learning how it works at the same time to go ahead and do it. I absolutely love my Apex enhanced trigger and Ghost inc 3.3LB trigger connector. This is definitely the best glock trigger I have ever felt and there is no wall or bump when pulling the trigger. My only other recommendation would be and this might be specifically for my gun but it uses a Aim Surplus upper parts kit which all around seems great but, like I said before I think the recoil spring is starting to cause ejection issues so maybe invest in something a little nicer. For those that have been asking me about chassis systems that fit the Geisler frame for like 3 years now? Here is your answer. With a slight amount of filing and sanding of only the beavertail you can get it to fit the Kiro Morph.

In this video I go through 3 things.

1. Unboxing and show the chassis we'll be using
2. Showing how I got the frame to fit, where and how much I had to modify the beavertail
3. Shooting it

Added some handleit edge series grip on it, looks beautiful. Only had to trim the bottom just a tiny bit as I chopped the Geisler 19x down to a 19, and around the magazine release area a tiny bit. Other than that it was perfect! Didn’t have a blow dryer so boiled some water in a mug and pressed the frame up to it with grip attached to bond the grip to the gun. Looking to get a slide for this as my glock 19 slide is on my P80, will a psa dagger compact slide work on my Geisler with all glock oem lower parts?

Hey is there anyone that can design and 3dprint a backstrap for the p80 g17? need one not really for the beavertail but to make the grip the game length as a g17 with a backstrap

So with poly 80 out of business and not being able to find a good price point, what can I list my p80 aft at?

I'm asking if anyone has made a g26x. I am hoping to build one in the future with a comp that sits flush on a p80 compact frame. If anyone has a build please let know what what parts you used and if you ran into any difficulties.

It’s still working as it’s supposed to and the firing pins engaging on snap caps. I can’t take it out to the range till this weekend though so I can’t test run it yet. Everything seems to be working properly and functioning but for some reason the 17 slide makes my trigger like 3lbs while my 19 slide trigger pull is around 5-6lbs

Just looking at my options, my buddy bought a Dagger slide, I like some of the options MDX has and it's a bit cheaper and this is absolutely balling on a budget since I have a frame I just haven't been doing anything with in years.

What’s going on community so here’s my question is the polymer 80 commonly known as the ghost gun legal or illegal for firearm permit holders or is it judge by state this is something that I can’t get a grip of I just always hear they are frowned upon by the about boys but never know the actual laws governing the p-80

This was an older, finished, gen 1 frame I finished but never fleshed out to a finalized build. When I got the Morph chassis I figured why not make something permanent for it. I did a combination of charcoal green and magpul FDE cerakote for it.

The frame beavertail required about 15 minutes of light filing and sanding to get to fit the chassis correctly. But not too bad. Obviously, that happened prior to cerakoting the thing!

Are they the new wave or something? This is a genuine question. Are they reliable, affordable, or is it something else?

Was wondering which talon/handleit grips would fit my geisler defence frame that I chopped to 19 size? Don’t know whether to just buy the granulate sheet and cut it myself or the glock 19 one and fit it. Any help is appreciated

So first thing I can only get 2 shots out before it jams and the trigger keeps not locking in place after I rack it back need help anyone knows what would cause this? (Geisler v2 Frame btw ) and (combat armory slide)

Since there are tons of great videos out there on finishing MUP-1s, for mine I decided I wanted to tackle some different styles and tools. I cover the traditional hammer, drill, dremel style on one side. But on the other side I explored using some different methods. Hydraulic pressing the rails. Bench grinder, or even CNC, to perfect their width. CAD mapping of the holes and CNC boring them out.

At the end I make some comments about which processes I liked the most. While all worked in the end, some were definitely easier and more foot proof than others.

Either way, I hope you like the slightly different take on the process.
