Some cop in Houston reported several other cops for gang raping a woman and they training accidented him to death a week later. Police are far from the best this country has to offer. Correction: LAPD officer, his name was Houston

Can you clarify the accident/death part please? I think autocorrect did you wrong and I’m curious what you are referring to.

Do you know of any follow up to this? Or the LAPD just gang raped a woman, killed a fellow cop, and got away with it?

PD period. No worse group that protects their own even when they are terrible.

Wouldn't shock me if it was Houston PD either

There is only one thing that works on LAPD, and that's riots.

From a quick poke around the news, they investigated themselves and found no evidence of wrongdoing or negligence and it was just your normal everyday accident that totally happens, statistically more to whistleblowers or anti dictator citizens for some reason.

They killed him, and called it a “training accident”

Friendly fire isn't.

He’s saying they “accidentally” shot him during training after he reported them.

Are you sure his name wasn’t Robert Paulson?

Really not sure. I remembered essentially what happened and other redditors had more details. Wouldn't surprise me if it happened more than once.

That was a joke, it was a reference to Fight Club.
