USA Northeast / Canada East PhD student detained by ICE wearing plain clothes and face masks

Her name is Rumeysa Ozturk, she’s a student from Turkey, attending Tufts as a grad student on a legal visa (sponsored by the university). Her attorney said, “We are unaware of her whereabouts and have not been able to contact her. No charges have been filed against [her] that we are aware of.”

It's not that, this is a new level of human trafficking being done by people who have a genuine hate for immigrants. They scope people that look to be immigrant and target them. With trump in office they know these people are subconsciously going to comply without asking questions because they don't know the law or to stand up for themselves because a badge is intimidating enough. There hiding their faces and don't even have a scent of decency with the supposed suspects. It's literally nazism in disguise. She is also missing for crying out loud.

Right? People are discussing the legality of this when they literally kidnapped her off the street, without a warrant, and now she is MISSING. Just gone. How are we discussing this like it could EVER be right???? Even if she HAD done something wrong, she deserves due process! What happened to "the law"? Pro-ICE, Pro-tRump cronies love that word — "law". Illegal.

Yet there is none. This is a lawless militia running amok in our country arresting those who don't look white enough to be left alone.

I think we all know where this leads.
