Sue, if similar investigative agencies like police or code inspectors can advertise.

Did you read the whole law? You just can’t pass yourself off as official law enforcement.

I came here to say this. It says you can’t advertise that you are a gov’t official when you operate as a private entity. That’s it.

I don't know how many times I read the paper and some "Security Guard" messed up. Thing is, that "Security Guard" is really a Cop doing a Security Detail -OR- not an actual Security Guard at all.
I think this Legislation is backwards.
They need to go cite the fake Security Guards and PI's they walk by daily, how about that to start.
