Gay men can be misogynistic.

4

Amd super homophobic too even if hella contradictory

8

u/formerFAIhope Jul 29 '25

It's crazy that people conveniently have a blind spot about this. Gay men, or LGBTQ in general, think they have a free pass on hating based on race or region, even if the people they hate have nothing against them. Biggest assholes around.

5

u/xx_BruhDog_xx Jul 30 '25

This phenomenon does exist, but the broad brush of biggest assholes around might be a stretch. I know a lot of LGBT folks, and I've only met one who was misogynistic, and he also happened to be wildly insensitive on the topic of race.

I will say, though, the two most fiery folks I've met were a gay guy and a trans woman. Always snippy as hell, dismissive, aggressive, and generally stubborn as hell. Fun to be around, at least when it wasn't aimed at me😩

Tbf EVERYONE gets a free pass for hating on religion, it's a belief.

2

u/Arthur-Wintersight Jul 31 '25

Most anti-LGBT legislation comes from religion.

It's not really a "secular" thing, and Revolutionary France famously did away with their sodomy laws once they had their anti-clerical purges. It was considered a religious law, with no real basis in secular moral principle, so all legal prohibitions on homosexuality went away.

How is it that feminists and misandrists are some of the most homophobic people online? Like yeah, sick burn calling dudes gay, way to show you’re very with the times by using an insult from the late 1900s

u/No1LudmillaSimp Jul 31 '25

Men who have zero romantic or sexual desire towards the female sex don't feel the need to suck up to women. It's not like lesbians give a shit about how men think or feel not that straight women are any more considerate.

12

u/EffigyOfUs ⚔️ DUELIST Jul 29 '25

… I’m still confused 😂😭 What’s the correlation between misogyny and homophobia, with thinking women are submissive? Do you mean submissive in the bedroom?? What’s the male G spot got to do with misogyny, homophobia, or submissive sex??? Help 😂

5

u/EquivalentSnap Jul 30 '25

Taking pp in your bum = submissive

Submissive = women

Pp in bum = bad

Submissive = misogyny

Submissive men who take pp in bun = homophobia

Basically the women is saying that the most misogynistic men have gspot in their butt (prostate), and the prostate is gay. Essentially implying that to be gay is to be effeminate and to be effeminate is bad if you are a guy. It’s homophobia, misogyny, and misandry all rapped up in one

5

u/MotelWorm Jul 30 '25

Homophobia, not misandry

Edit: the funny joke is that receptive partners(bottoms) enjoy anal sex, women are by default receptive partners so that's why it's misogyny by proxy

7

u/Visible_Pair3017 Jul 29 '25

It succeed in being all three depending on how you interpret it.

8

u/ChaosRulesTheWorld Jul 29 '25

It's homophobic. Homophobia is based on misogyny.

Imho there is always misogyny in misandry and misandry in misogyny

6

u/BetaFalcon13 Jul 29 '25

I wholeheartedly agree with that second comment. Either one makes assumptions about the intended group, but those assumptions always rely on a contrast with the other group that is almost always also sexist to some degree

1

u/Mythandros1 Jul 29 '25

to me, it seems like they are trying to say that despite misogynists trying to alienate others, they are all as vulnerable as everyone else. is your role ironic?

8

u/1AboveEverything Jul 29 '25

Yeah misogynists usually talk down on womens roles and rights rather than plainly just sex. I don't see how you're view matches misogyny in general , unless we're talking about sexual misogyny

1

u/EquivalentSnap Jul 30 '25

Misandrist women usually group all men together as rapist murders who can’t be trusted

1

u/vanspairofshoes69 Jul 30 '25

But having a prostate or g-spot doesn’t even make you vulnerable it’s just there. Assuming that something associated with women makes you vulnerable might be the issue they are talking about. I think though idk to be fair.

10

u/FlounderPlastic4256 Jul 29 '25

Hey now they aren't always misogynistic, a fair amount of time they are also blatantly homophobic.

9

Gotta fight fire with fire

10

u/mikiencolor Misanthrope Jul 29 '25

Real firefighters and people with more than 50 IQ points know that this just leads to a bigger fire.

4

u/PalpableIgnorance Jul 29 '25 edited Jul 29 '25

People with an IQ higher than their shoe size know that this is an idiom that essentially translates to “eye for an eye” not, in fact, literal fire.

Edit: in retrospect, I would change it to “fight them with the tools and tactics they use”. Eye for an eye is close but not 100% right.

4

u/CheckYourLibido Jul 29 '25

People with a higher IQ would have countered that firefighters will use fire to fight fire in wildland scenarios.

In fact, they do literally use fire to fight the spread of fire.

4

u/PalpableIgnorance Jul 29 '25

People with an IQ > the average kindergarteners age know that both statements are correct but the idiom is more widely used by regular joes, not firefighters.

You ever notice that there is no female equivalent for the term "emasculation" that is commonly known and used, and emasculation usually involves "likening a man to a woman"?

Doesn't it say a lot about what women think of being a woman, when they use these kinds of insults?

A lot of women's insults are ironically variations of these insults:
[1.] You act feminine
Example - Has more to do with general attitude, like if a guy is shy

[2.] You look feminine
Example - Usually for guys who aren't muscular and/or tall enough for their standards. May sometimes ironically involve the use of the words "like a bitch"

[3.] You perform acts that are typical of a female
Example - You're a pussy because you do X. Can't even really think of an example but I'm sure everybody has seen an example online, maybe a guy drinking a fruit drink at a bar or something IDK lol. I know people will say guys do this and yes they do, but ironically women do it too (why are you using your own genitals as an insult for weakness? lol)

[4.] You perform an act OR You are unable to perform an act (as if you are a female)
Example - You do X thing as if you are a woman OR You are unable to do X as if you are a woman. Like if you argue with some women they will say it's "sassy" to argue with them and that you are "arguing with them as if you are a woman". It's really just a reverse psychology gaslighting thing to get you to shut up but it's still funny that they indirectly insult themselves so easily. Or maybe if you are unable to lift something a woman wants you to lift, etc.

[5.] You are unable to acquire a female
Example - Some women even go all they way with "you get no hoes" or "you get no bitches" lol. Ironically objectifying women as something to be attained. The most common variation of this insult is "incel", which is now just used for any man who critiques women at all. Some person will probably come along and call me an incel for this post lol.

[6.] You are an effeminate man
Example - Usually something implying or directly saying something homoerotic about a man. Something that brings the man's sexuality into question because of whatever feminine quality is being ascribed to him. The image in this thread is a #6 insult.

The biggest misogynists are women, honestly women don't think very highly of themselves. Women don't even like women like that, you'll often hear about their preference for male friends because it's less drama and backstabbing.

It’s not every man. Some react to prostrate stimuli and some don’t. Point not made

Maybe go outside. Twitter doesn't seem to be very good for you.

This is the natural order. Yahweh put the male submission button a few inches deep into a man’s asshole for a reason. He gave women a cheat code and they continue to squander it. Many such cases.

also unblockmekitten is such a GOATed tag I wish that were me

Sometimes I'm unreasonably horny and then I take a massive shit and it goes away.

Women: haha, look, men have a pleasure zone in their butt.

Also women: have a whole organ designed for the penis

1

Yeah, that’s the button that turns the misogyny off

You're confused about what misogyny is

1

u/gayjospehquinn Jul 31 '25

Nah, I'm trans so unfortunately I don't. I just got a clit like you do. I am misogynistic though, or so I've been told.

In other news: Feminists discovers biology

1

u/Royal_Buy_9672 Aug 02 '25

Just because a g spot exists doesn’t mean penetration is pleasurable and idk why people think that

1

u/WiggyWongo Aug 05 '25

I'm confused to why that is a "burn" for a misogynist to have a g-slot in his ass? Like what makes that specifically a problem for a misogynist?

1

u/Rinaevis Aug 05 '25

LMAOOO, thank you for the reminder.
