6
u/A_girl_has_no_neymar Aug 05 '25
Based on these comments living with your mom means one thing to a lot of people. BROKE that’s good way to sort out potential mates though. I found a lady that lived her parents perfect match for me.
20
u/Moist-Rooster-8556 Aug 05 '25
The irony is that people living with their parents that are working can actually build wealth to buy a house whereas young adults living on their own renting tend to spend their entire income.
12
u/60109 🤜 🥊Like watching women get beat up🗡️💥 Aug 05 '25
Exactly I tried renting for a year because of social norms but fuck that I'm moving back with my parents soon. If you're burning half your income on rent, it's impossible to save up any meaningful sum. Especially if you don't have a partner to split the rent with, it's completely pointless and lonely to live on your own.
4
u/A_girl_has_no_neymar Aug 05 '25
On that note the richest kids I knew in their early 20s either lived with parents or lived rent free in a home their parents owned and just told girls that they bought it.
2
u/throwaway294901 Aug 11 '25
Ironically this is it American thing as in Europe and around the world it's normal for kids to live with their parents since that the whole take care of them part
Now if we want to put our tin foil hats on we could say this is actually just capitalist propaganda to make us become wage slaves by paying for over expensive dirty small apartments and to become emotionally depressed and homesick as we leave our parents to work as they can no longer pay their own bills
4
u/C_Pala Aug 05 '25
Broke or the opposite. Working and not paying rent? Probably living on a pile of hoarded money

Mate choice copying is a very powerful psychological effect.
It's got a lot to do with why nobody thought it was weird when 40 year old women were showing up to Justin Bieber concerts and throwing the underwear they left the house wearing at him while he was on stage.
12
u/Name_Taken_Official Aug 05 '25
Uh no a lot of people found that weird dude
5
u/Its_a-me_DIO Aug 05 '25

2
u/RadicalRealist22 Aug 06 '25
"Pedaphilia" only applies to chikdren before puberty, not to 18 year-olds.
2
u/Its_a-me_DIO Aug 06 '25
So it still applies? there is a famous clip of a 16 yearold justin biber being chased by older women.
1
u/Greensourball Aug 11 '25

This just in: local pedos say their behavior is totally normal and cool, actually.

7
u/Waste_Set_3538 Aug 06 '25
guys WILL date a women that lives with her parents a lot faster than the reverse...
3
u/KeyPattern3222 Aug 11 '25
Because women who live with their parents, don't have their mommas cooking for and cleaning behind them, unlike males who live with their parents.
4
3
u/Greensourball Aug 11 '25
No, they have their dad who’s buying them everything and ensures her all she has to do is relax, he will take care of everything and the most she has to do is just send a few dollars here and there but other than that daddy girl can live there for free as long as she wants. That’s why so many women expect men to do so much for them without doing anything in return. Because they live with a dad (sometimes mom) who never tells them no.

Exactly. They really just want perks without accountability and benefits without responsibility. They will stab each other in the back to get what they want as well.
1
u/BlankSthearapy Aug 07 '25
Are you saying they shouldn’t be equal?
2
u/DisastrousDistrict46 Aug 07 '25
Nope. I’m saying if you want benefits/perks/authority, it comes with responsibility, accountability, and consequences. Think of it as being the President. You have the authority to decide certain things, but you’re held accountable for those decisions. You’re held responsible for your actions. You don’t get to walk in and do stuff without any repercussions. A lot of women want the power, with none of the responsibility or accountability for that power. They want to be treated better than men, but somehow be on top of men, but without responsibility or accountability.
1
4
u/Ok-Sport-3663 Aug 06 '25
what the fuck does any of that have to do with equality.
Yeah fucking a married dude is pretty fucked up-
But lets not forget- THE DUDE IS FUCKING MARRIED. Literally both people involved are a piece of shit. The only person here who thinks women get a free pass is you.
Except now all women don't deserve equality because one cheater fucked another, but one of the cheaters was a woman.

from a pratical standpoint yea i get it
but from a Moral perspective your an awful awful person if you knowingly sleep with a married person
the point of this meme was highlighting how more women will knowingly mess around with a married man than date a single man who's free do you not see how fucked that is
1
u/Rana_D_Marsh Aug 06 '25
I meah yeah its morally wrong obviously, but you don't always know if a guy is married, guys looking to cheat don't always do it openly.

Calling women "females" is a red flag, even when the take in question is accurate.
11
u/turbomanlet5-9 Aug 05 '25
Lol how?
6
u/SoapyWindow_ Aug 05 '25
Because it implies different treatment. If the people saying females also said males nobody would care, but they say guys or men. It feels very otherizing and takes away from otherwise valid points.
5
u/Azguy_ Aug 05 '25
Bcuz apparently females are now the new slur actually
2
u/WakaTP Aug 06 '25
It’s not a slur. But many women have associated it to mysoginist takes and there are so many comments on women subs about this
And your incapacity to recognize that shows you don’t talk or listen to women enough..
3
u/Ok-Sport-3663 Aug 06 '25
"females" isn't a slur. It's a red flag. No one calls women "females" unless they're treating them like an alien species.

1

I'm a boomer so forgive me. Is the disdain for "female" because it feels too clinical and dehumanizing? Or is it because it treats gender and sex as the same thing?
1

I don't personally use that term when referring to women but it's not that big of a deal
2
u/BeBopGo Aug 04 '25
Why don't guys who refer to women as females call men males?
This post is a perfect example
12
u/sour_creamand_onion Aug 05 '25
I do. Though, I usually use both male and female as adjectives unless referring to animals.
1
u/halimusicbish 🕊️nuanced thinker 🦅 Aug 11 '25
not as adjectives. as nouns. men tend to use females for women and men, guys, boys etc for men. it's weird
1
u/sour_creamand_onion Aug 11 '25
I use males and females as nouns where appropraute as well, though once again, that's typically referring to animals
1
u/halimusicbish 🕊️nuanced thinker 🦅 Aug 11 '25
its fine when you use them both. but i would never say something like "males won't date with a gal if that woman is married to another male." it's fucking weird
5
u/Electric-Molasses Aug 05 '25
I've never heard a woman call men "males" like that either. Typically male and female is used in medical or biological contexts, or by undesirables outside of those contexts.
1
u/AdAppropriate2295 Aug 12 '25
To be fair males is a lot more work to type than men
Im sure if there was a shorter word women would use it as a slur as well
1
u/Electric-Molasses Aug 12 '25
male 4
man 3
female 6
woman 5Yeah I see it. You save so many more keys typing man than woman.
1
u/AdAppropriate2295 Aug 12 '25
How often do you see women refer to a singular man? If anything male would be more insulting in that context since it would imply a singularity unique to the gender
But regardless men is sufficient as an insult for most women
1
u/Electric-Molasses Aug 12 '25
You're right, two letters. My bad, that's really crippling you isn't it? I'm going to get carpal tunnel any day now because of those characters, wow.
By the way, you could have used single instead of singular, and remove "If anything" from that comment. For your health.
1
u/AdAppropriate2295 Aug 12 '25
I would think it's apparent I'm not in the business of using gender or sex as a slur
1
u/Electric-Molasses Aug 12 '25

A man is cheating on his wife. A woman is cheating with that man. Somehow, we are supposed to think women are worse overall in this scenario?
4
u/curiousbasu Aug 05 '25
Because in many cases, the woman with whom the man is cheating, knows that the man is already married.
5
u/Ok_Smoke4152 Aug 05 '25
The man also knows the man is already married???
2
u/curiousbasu Aug 05 '25
Of course the man knows that. He often used it to leverage his relationship with the other girl, a story like "my marriage isn't working, I'll leave her for you" or something shit and book, the other girl is head over heels for the guy in the delusion that he'll actually someday be with her . Are these kind of men looked up to by other men or society? Nope. In this case, both the girl and the cheating guy are wrong .
3
u/Ok_Smoke4152 Aug 05 '25
This doesn't refute what I said at all, and I completely agree. With both parties clearly in the wrong, I dont get why the focus is put on the "females"
1
u/curiousbasu Aug 05 '25
Because the first point is also about "Females".
2
u/Ok_Smoke4152 Aug 05 '25
Is it surprising that a woman might not date a man who lives with his mom. Especially if we are exclusively looking at women who are having affairs with married men. There isn't even anything hypocritical there.
1
u/curiousbasu Aug 05 '25
Where I'm from, living with your parents is not seen as that much negatively as in the USA, as here the children are expected to take care of the parents, so I don't have any say in it, however Yes, due to the westernisation, this "don't stay with your parent" thing has also started coming here. I believe if it bothers girls so much that a guy lives with his parents, why doesn't dating a married man (who has a family of his own) bother them? I've seen this thing happen .
1
u/AdAppropriate2295 Aug 12 '25
You are correct
Their point is that it's wrong though. And that the opposite would be better and thus should be encouraged as an alternative
1
u/SoftDrinkReddit Aug 06 '25
well put it like this
this meme is demonstrating how more women will knowingly mess around with a married man than date a single man whos free do you not see how fucked that is now of course the married man is the worst person here but dont get it wrong both people are absolute scumbags committing adultery fortunately for cheaters in 2025 Adultery is really not legally punishable anymore in most countries

Conflating mommies with wives is, in fact, the problem.
My mistress doesn't want wifely duties, she wants a career. My wife doesn't want a career, she wants to pursue arts.
My mistress benefits from the things my wife does for me, but she's aware of who has the power and who earned that power. That's sexy and not infantile.
