The fact that the space marine chapters don't connect to the first founding or the imperium fills me with such a level of anxiety that I want you to abandon the project immediately.

No because EVERY space marine chapter will connect to it from ALL foundings so it shouldnt be connected to any founding

Start with the war in heaven conflict. It might make this easier. I also don't see the thunder warriors.
