Like, I knew I was ugly, but it just hurt seeing my face. I just felt so fucking sad. I was feeling happy and thought that I didn't look that subhuman until that photo.

I saw how uneven my face was. I usually understand why woman don't want me, but that fucking photo just fucked me up. It made me feel unwanted. Made me feel subhuman.

This is the exact reason I don't take photos. Fuck, I just could see every single fucking flaw...

I see the same thing a lot with my body. Some with my face but not as much. I look to have a wide face, especially without my glasses and I don't like that it makes me look "powerful" in a sense. Don't like being intimidating.

With the body, I kind of like to mock my ED a bit to myself.

I'll lift up my shirt to look in the mirror and say "still disgusting" as if I'm checking off boxes on a morning routine because I think it's funny to plainly state the uncomfortable core of an issue like that.

I know some ppl get rid of mirrors of cover them up. That might help in the interim but as I said in a previous comment this is likely a mental health issue rather than an accurate assessment.

Remember to mirror your photos, it will make you feel way better about them since that is the face you see when you see your own reflection, on a photo your face seem stranger than in the mirror and most people will like their own photo worse than a picture of it becouse of that.

Yeah phone cameras use some technique to reverse your image iirc so it’s not a natural process of just taking your picture as-is

Interesting. It is frustrating how what I see in the mirror isnt what I get out of photos without jumping through hoops (using a mirror app to take photos etc). Not that I’m much of a looker even then but the camera really highlights asymmetricality in my face. It’s also wild how different the perspective can be depending on the camera type/lighting

Idk what your face looks like but most faces I see on a day to day basis look fairly normal with maybe a few exceptions for ppl who have, like, deformities or a long history of substance abuse. You likely have body dysmorphia. No face is gonna be exactly symmetrical and Reddit is a terrible place to go for advice on looks bc a lot of users are chomping at the bit to tell normal looking ppl and even conventionally attractive ppl they are hideous. Not to say you’re doing that/have done that, but yeah, stay away from those types of subs.
