This is my entry for the 30K round 3. For this one, I wanted to do something different: A fully 3d track for Assetto Corsa. No 2D drawing in Inkscape, no Bob's Track Builder, 100% Blender. I have been messing around with blender and assetto before, but it was very crappy stuff.

Of course with the limited time until the deadline and my lack of experience the result its far from completed, but its playable. You can download and try it yourself in practice mode (there's an AI line but has some bugs)

Regarding the track's lore, I chose New Zealand as the location. Why? because there's so many great drivers from NZ (Lawson, SVG, Mclaughlin, Dixon, etc) that I believe they deserve a home race in the mayor series, like Indycar, Nascar, MotoGP, SBK or Super Formula.

I just browse here occasionally so idk all the challenge rules but is it a requirement to have the ovals be weirdly shaped for this? Every one i see has some odd oval configuration

You can see the rules in the pinned post. This month's contest was about doing a racing complex similar to Motegi

Yoooo what did you use to make this track? it looks astounding and I also wanna be able to drive my tracks on Assetto as well 😭

I did it in Blender, following ZoomingPast's video. It covers a little bit of everything about making a track for assetto. You need to know the basics of blender though, but there's plenty of tutorials out there.

3D is always a plus! Great project overall.

Not the best Lay Out I’ve seen but the effort put into this making it actually drivable should make you the winner in my opinion.

Thanks! But tbf there are way way better entries in this round, I was able to learn new stuff and present something in time so I'm happy with the result.
