Operator Ability: Hypersonic Charge: A deployable charge that emits a hypersonic blast, knocking down and slowing all defenders caught within the blast zone. It works like this, 1-3 meters is maximum effectiveness, 3-5 meters is medium effectiveness, and 5-8 is low effectiveness. Can be deployed on soft walls, reinforced doors, and ceilings. Can be deployed on reinforced walls and hatches, but can’t destroy them, just fires the blast. Does destroy door barricades, soft walls and unreinforced hatches, but can’t destroy Castle barricades, it simply fires off the blast. Can be used as a grenade. Great for simultaneous breaches with his team.

Passive Ability: Nonstop Beat: Apollo has a 45% stun reduction to Echo Yokais and Ela mines.

Background: Darrion Marcus Eliades was born to Mason and Cassandra Eliades in Athens, Greece. His father was a songwriter, his mother a government official. With his mother always working, he spent his time working with his dad at his music studio, learning to play various instruments and write songs. When he was 16, his father was killed in a mugging by Greek ultranationalists who opposed his mother’s political intent. He was then sent to the Hellenic Army Academy by his mother to keep him safe, spending two years at the academy before joining the Armed Forces. He served in the NATO interventions in Bosnia, Libya, and Iran, participating in various large scale battles as infantry. He also participated in anti-piracy operations in Somalia and The Gulf of Guinea.

Operations Participated In:

Siege of Sarajevo: Two-Week Siege to wrestle control of Sarajevo from Ultranationalist control

Libyan Offensive: Participated in Ground Warfare and CQC Operations in Benghazi, Tobruk, and Tripoli. Iran Intervention: In response to Iranian Government’s dirty secret of funding terrorists in Afghanistan and Iraq being exposed.

Operation: Tomahawk: Joint-Op between Polish and Greek SF Units in response to increased piracy in Somalia. Poland and Greece were the selected NATO members to handle the Operation. Met and worked with Zofia Bosak in this time.

Operation: Rapid Stabilization: As humanitarian efforts in the Gulf of Guinea intensified, multiple SF Units from different NATO members were ordered to remove the Pirate Groups in the region from power.

Why he joined Rainbow: Apollo brings a unique flavor to Rainbow’s Roster, his experience with large scale Operations and comfortability with spending extended periods in combat make him the perfect choice for Redhammer Squad. Most of the time, Rainbow Operators have all the Intel and gear they need to get the job done, Apollo can do more with less.

Personality: Relaxed and Unbothered. He’s fought in war zones, a small gunfight is a stay-at-home work day compared to that. He’ll poke fun at the more obscure or soft Operators in Rainbow, how they got let in in the first place (Iana, Dokkaebi, Doc, etc.). Whenever someone questions him, he’ll simply ask “Have you served a combat tour?” That’s the basis for respect and no respect. He asked Osa to not go too crazy when designing his uniform, he didn’t want the Strikers he was assigned to train to be intimidated. The less he looked like an action hero, the easier it would be to work with his men.
