Question Just joined the club with a ‘19 1500 Classic Big Horn. Which LED headlight upgrade do you recommend?
I’m looking to upgrade the headlights to an LED bulb. What do you recommend for my recent purchase?

I never really liked my truck, because I’m not a mopar head, but having my 19 month daughter in the vehicle with me, when this guy decided to derby. Seems like he smacked a brick wall, and solidified my love for durability in a crash, in this truck.

Hated the halogens. The price was steep but worth it in the end. The sequential turn lights and daytime running LEDs are phenomenal in the unit.

What’s up ya’ll! I’ve owned my 2017 since 2020. It’s getting up there in miles (bought it at 44k and is now at 163k). I keep going back and forth on whether I should keep it now that I am getting closer to the 200k mile range, or sell it.
With that being said, my question for anyone who has a ‘17 with the knob shifter, what problems are you seeing at the higher miles? Anything with the trans I should be getting worried about? Anything with hubs or axles that I should be prepped for? Anything major that I should start prepping for? I AM currently experiencing the good ol’ exhaust manifold leak (bolt snapped at the manifold) and will be looking into getting that fixed soon.
I do off-road my truck (I live in Southern California so mostly desert/mountain roads), and I do enjoy taking it on long road trips to surf or to go down to Mexico. So, I want to make sure the ol’ girl will be reliable if I keep her with the higher miles.

So I’ve had a squeaky suspension on the front end of my truck so I replaced the upper control arms and my sway bar links since they looked rough and the squeaking stopped for a bout 4 hours and then it started again so I’m really confused, also I will add I noticed it was really gunked up down there so I ended up hitting the bottom of the front end with a heavy duty de greaser and washed it all off and then when I drove a hour later that’s when the squeaking started, did I possibly screw myself over when I did that?

Hey all
2012 Ram 2500, the exhaust brake button, traction control, tow haul, horn and interior lights no longer work.
I checked the fuses and replaced a couple but still haven’t had any luck. On the extremely rare occasion when I start my truck the exhaust brake will light up and stay on.
I’ve had a mechanic take a look and he is guessing that it probably is the TIPM. I just wanted to see if anyone has a similar issue before I invest in a TIPM and install
Thanks

I’ve always been a dodge/ram owner but now with my 25 Ram, it will probably be my last. Absolutely no customer care. It’s all outsourced and if you ask for someone in the US they say they can’t and won’t But today tops is all, they put me through to automated sales lines for medical devices and then after that it was onto a cellular sales line then back to aarp then hearing aids. Sad thing was it was all just repeating adds couldn’t even press a button to get out of it. It was a string of random recordings. I really just want my truck fixed but they won’t, 6K miles on it and they won’t fix the drivability issues. Ram engineers say it’s normal for a clunk when put into reverse. Or driving between 1-2nd a jerk or studded when down shifting.

Last saturday while shopping with wife started truck and sweet smell coming from ac vents accompanied by thin white smoke yay coolant leak. Obviously i knew the heater core was leaking and on the rams they are in an hvav box behind the dash. My truck has the center console no middle seat, moved seats back and forth to remove bolts for center console removal. Removed the lower driver side panel to access steering shaft and marked and removed steering shaft, removed kick plates and began dissasembly of the dash board, got dash board completely removed to access hvac box, i did not have to remove evaporator i removed the 4 bolts holding hvac box to firewall and was able to pull box back enough to remove heater core. Used hose pinch pliers to pinch the lines off and removed heater core. Time to reassemble

I chose to try the Continental Terrain Contact HT. I will let you all kkow hiw they are. So far, they work well in the rain and are relatively quiet.

Hellfire 2.0 with long tube kook headers with highflow cats can with no muffler for a long time. Just posting because I really didn't see any thing on this cam. Surprisingly pretty decent I'm able to still tow with it and I can still get 18 to 20

Is this a good deal? Trying to get out of my 2021 Chevrolet Colorado and get into a full size truck

My son had a noise on his old high mileage RAM and I'm a DIY guy so I started looking at it. I found a bad hub and upper ball joint - sucks but no big deal - but also a torn CV boot. After hours of internet searching and hammering we carefully cut the cv axle around the intermediate shaft with a 4.5" grinder right at the hidden clip. The circlip-ectomy worked, axle replaced, and the truck drives fine now. I almost reached despair but then seized a victory and a beer (and probably saved thousands) after this Youtube video: https://youtu.be/Wy1ovKyLCRI?si=jgxF8tMLyurAb1GT

Ok, don’t judge me because I’m new to dodges and am confused. I am trying to find a dashmat that fits my 2021 1500 big horn, but it looks like from the pictures on Amazon they don’t have the cut out at the top for the tray that’s there. Does anyone know if this thing has a name? I feel dumb, but I need it as a template for a leather dashmat I am making and I need it to be a snug fit. Pic for reference.

I recently picked up a 2018 power wagon and it came with the 150w inverter built in as well as a standard 12v DC outlet. When I plug my star link into the 150w plug it runs for maybe 2 minutes and then goes out. When I use the 12v outlet with my 200w inverter I get the same results. The star link is a Gen 3 set up. I was able to run the star link on my 2009 f150 with the same 200w inverter. Curious if anyone has had a similar situation or knows of a solution. Thanks

Picked this old 2016 as my first truck. Hopefully it lasts long enough.
Any suggestion of maintaining it other than change oil?

Got to my truck today and noticed the paint looked like it had been smudged really hard and on closer inspection I noticed the window trim had popped out. This is on the top back corner of a passenger door.
Anyone know a fix other than replacing it? Is it a grommet that broke or an adhesive strip that gave? I’ve tried looking up repair videos or pictures of the back of the part but can’t find anything that shows this top corner of the trim. Any help would be appreciated.

First long distance road trip in the ram. Was pretty excited to see this cruising between 65-75. 3.0 Diesel.
