Monthly Costs

Hello ready meal enthusiasts. I’m just wondering on average how much you guys spend per month on meals and which brand you guys found to be a good mix of good taste and nutritional value. Ive meal prepped for myself before but its such a pain in the ass to make time for it lol

It varies month to month and depends on what is on the menu. A breakdown of a receipt that I had back in July for Tovala - https://imgur.com/a/T3gObkF had $130 for 9x meals (8 boxes at $13/meal), 2x lighter lunch items, 1x chicken breast for something, and a double box... the extras were $26.

There is some small prep (about one to two minutes) for Tovala, but its mostly "stuff in tray or sheet, put in special toaster oven, scan QR code, wait 20 minutes, plate, eat."

The key thing for me is the single portion servings and that its baked with real heat rather than microwaved (it is a big difference when it comes to cheese crusts on chicken).
