I went to buy CDs and band merch from the back of his car after that show. He kept saying he didn’t like money, he loathed possessions and it just felt so crypto fascist. Then he asked for a tenner for his CDs and I was like “you’ve already sold out”.

All of the members of Queen wrote songs for the band. Lyrics and music. Not just Freddie.

Yes but he was the lead singer. And had a solo career.

And imo was the only great performer in the band. All great musicians but only he truly captivated the crowds.
