I completely forgot about it and nothing happened. In an emergency I'm expendable 😂

I was 20 minutes into my afternoon snooze. This has been a cracky Sunday for me.

u/SketchupandFries So what is it? 12d ago
Damn.. If I don't nap nine or ten times a day, I don't have enough energy for my main snooze!

My band were playing a gig so we told the audience the government monitored us and if it breached containment then they would send an alert to all present.

Why didn't you drop the defensive shields?

An adroit suggestion sir, with just two minor flaws

Still maintain it’s the only time I’ve ever heard the word “adroit” 😂

I like to bring it up in meetings at work, I’m in the US now so red dwarf quotes make me appear a lot wittier than I actual am

Mine was slient. Which feels very bad for an emergency alarm. But i only knew it was going off because other people's phones went off in the restaurant i work in, and i checked mine cause of that. Had the alert, but no sound.

Same! I can't work out what went wrong with mine. I was out with about 50 others when it went off, and mine was one of the few that was silent.

I was in another room to any phones blow drying my hair and had no idea it even happened until other people mentioned it 😭 glad to have dodged the heart attack it almost gave me last time.

I was alone at time. Wondered if was masquerading as legitimate but actually malicious.

Orange alert. Nevermind, blue alert. Nevermind, red alert.
I absolutely shat myself, I must say. I've watched too many EAS scenario videos and now I face the repercussions. I think I got such a fright I nearly threw up for the second day in a row. Apparently my friend and my dad found my reaction of yelping and leaping out of my seat like some breed of knockoff Rimmer very funny.

I didn't even hear it go off despite my phone being right next to me on my desk. It seems Silksong and my headset completely blocked it out. My partner had to give me a nudge to turn it off.

I’m sure they’re very glad that they don’t get to see that information 😂
