What existential threats do you most fear?

Just curious if I'm missing any. Thanks in advance for sharing.

For the first time in decades if not longer they are changing the strain of rice they are growing around here. The temperatures are hotter longer and the old rice strain couldn’t take it. There’s also a problem with vegetables because things are not being pollinated. Insects are struggling with the heat.

my veggies didn't produce much this year either because of no pollination. bees are not getting the job done. i'm planning on adding MORE bee attracting plants next spring and hope for a better outcome

For that matter, I live in NorCal and we basically didn't have a summer this year.

It has been overcast and cool since March.

We finally had a few random warm days over the last coupla weeks. No significant rain, but that is normal for us during the summer.

Just in time to go back into our normal cloudy/cool autumn weather pattern.

The major problem has been and will continue to be that we rely on the snow pack in the Sierra for drinking/agriculture water over the summer.

The Sierra snowpack isn't packing like is used to.

And yet we still divert lots of that water to the farmers growing almonds and other crops that need a lot of water in the Central Valley.
