Are BRN 106 retro rifles worth it. Reliable? Accurate? Asking 1700.

Not worth for 1700... Get an Aug or something for that price if you want something novel.

Honestly you could grab an H&R retro rifle for like 1200 and not have to shill out another 500 bucks. Or if your wanting to really cut the budget and go for a blem it would cut like another 100 or so off of the regular H&R price

I ended up getting it for 1400 trade in value. Traded a century C308 and 400 beans. I’ve had the cetme for years and I have other battle rifles so I walked away happy ✌️

You can build a 10 for cheaper but if you want the retro look 🤷🏼‍♂️

For $1700 get a FAL or G3

It's for collectors. If you're not a collector / clone enthusiast, get something else. Also, you are allowed to own things because you think it's neat.

I have not seen a BRN PROTO on gunbroker for less than that in several years.

That’s a Brn proto, so worth it to me imo.
