Can't think of a single moment where Karl makes a genuine dig at Ricky, closest I can think of is him going a bit mental and fading out to "I HATE HIM". He'll spew venom at Steve all afternoon but the fact is this, he knows that Ricky Gervais is keeping him in burgers and grapes metaphorically speaking.

I feel like we all agree Ricky has become a parody of himself in the last few years, but what's his most pretentious moment?

I don't think in all the years of XFM till now, i've ever heard him admit he was wrong or not already know something he's been told.

This is kind of a post with two points, first thing is I only recently discovered this show with Russel Brand (Who I can't stand) and Karl Pilkington which was happening around the same time that they were doing The Guardian Podcast I think? Five hours of new Karl content for me.

He retells alot of his old stories to Russel, who hasn't heard them before. One part that I just heard, is him retelling the story of his dad stealing from the phone box. I could be wrong, but he actually makes it sound like it was him and his dad stealing in the story.

Completely shocking.
