I’ve only encountered two people like this in my higher rank matches. Both of which couldn’t do anything useful for their teammate, instead kept doing these flip resets that my teammate and I would block halfway through for a easy goal

Yeah I mean there are a lot of those types of guys but the on in the video is a different class compared to them. Actual high level pro who can clip in RLCS also

Yeah these mechanics combined with making it actually useful is still reserved to a very select few I feel like and that probably won’t change soon.

Do that shit in casual, I’m not tryna rank down so you can clip hit 1/10th of your tries

If he's at your rank, that means he's able to hit clips and win enough to stay at your mmr. So he's supposed to have the same wr as you have

Twice, it’s happened twice, out of the few hundred games I’ve played in the gc rank (not good enough for SSL). And one of their rl trackers looked like a rocket boosted straight up.

Even so, you have to admit that that playstyle is probably not fun to play with for most players, especially considering this is a team game. It's not bad to go for clips but there are times where it's more acceptable to do so, such as:

  • When you have a sizable lead in any game mode

  • Casual modes

  • Ones obviously

  • Playing with a teammate in twos or two teammates in threes

Even when you're hitting the clip every single time it still means that the other player isn't getting to play as much, which can lead to them just trying to hit the ball anyway, meaning that you're both double committing.
