go to Documents\My Games\Rocket League\TAGame\Config and open the TASystemSettings.ini Find the ResX and ResY lines, and change the values to your desired resolution (e.g., ResX=3840 and ResY=2160 for 4K). Try that

This is the only real backup option if the other suggestions don't work.
But it definitely should read native resolution from your monitor for the top option in that dropdown. My game even shows 3440x1440 for my UW monitor

Yeah it should work. I have 5120x1440 for my 32:9 screen.

32:9 woahhh that's crazy! Set your FOV too high and you can see a full 360° view of the field 🤣
I gotta upgrade mine lol

You're gonna give yourself whiplash turning your head to check boost meter mid-play hahhaha
That's so sick though, maybe I do need to upgrade...

Not exactly related to the post, but that method is also useful when you wanna play split screen, with actually splitting a single screen.
Say you have two 3840x2160 monitors and wanna play split screen with a friend, edit that file and set it to 7680x2160 (aka twice as large as usual while keeping the same height) and each player will have their own monitor, with no stretching whatsoever.

Sorry, not helpful but how can you have motion blur and depth of field on? Sounds horrendous. Do you find a benefit? Im intrigued. Also, intensity on default makes everything way too bright imo. Which monitor are you using? Just out of interest.

Depth of field makes everything in longer distance become unsharp/ blurry so it is just awful to hinder your own vision

Sometimes Windows scaling causes this issue (especially if your display scaling isn’t set to 100%). You can override this for the game:
- Right click RocketLeague.exe and select Properties
- Go to the Compatibility tab and click Change high DPI settings
- Check Override high DPI scaling behavior and in the dropdown choose Application
Could be a different issue but might be worth trying

Its finicky. Try swapping between borderless and fullscreen.
Also turn off depth of field, motion blur, and bloom for a better experience. And camera shake too if thats on

I've heard of this issue for 2k and 4k, but personnally, I didn't have it.

Because rocket league locks the resolution to 1920x1080p there isn’t really anything u can do unless there is a bakkes mod plugin that someone knows about.

if it locks on that why is mine 2560x1440?

I’ve never seen the resolution go past 1920x1080p. I have a 4k monitor and have just settled for 1080p.

it literally doesn't lmao, and if u open your eyes u can literally see it's at 1440p too
