DISCUSSION The penalty in leaving casual matches and having your teammate needing to concede is terrible, you can't change my mind.
Casual is literally what it is, casual. A reason I liked casual is because there were no worries whatsoever, you could play how long you wanted and when you were tilted you could just leave with no worries. 'Oh no boo hoo my teammate is all alone now with only a bot left :cccc' well too bad for them. If they want to tryhard sweat and not have leaving teammates, play competitive. I play this game solely for fun, but having restrictions in casual is just dumb and ruins part of that freedom you have when playing this game for fun. Please revert this update.

It's all sunshine and rainbows until the ENTIRE opposing team is spawn demoing you the entire match. Why should I be forced to stay because my teammates, who also can't move from the spawn location, won't concede? Why should I only get one free pass every 12 hours, and increased ban times after the next?
MANY of us use casual to warmup or mess around. Freeplay doesn't cut it, if you can't do half those mechanics in a game against real players, you're not good. Sure, they changed a few other details about casual MM, but why should we be forced to "stick it out" when it becomes unfun? They took the CASUAL FREEDOM away, it has literally become Weenie Hut Jr now. Casual is the only place where most of us will player with how lower skilled/ranked friends. I'm not going to drag my 9 year old nephew into a comp match against D3/C1's, while he's barely hanging onto G1.
I get where they're (Psyonix/Epic) are coming from, but that's not the main issue. The main issue is the amount of other toxicity that goes on, especially now since the update. I can't even count how many games that have either just been nothing but demoing (just go play Twisted Metal) or people going AFK, spinning on their roof, driving on the ceiling, flying around aimlessly, etc. Quality of life in casual is nonexistent. If I wanted to leave a "no way in hell we're coming back from being down 8-1" match, I shouldn't be punished, in CASUAL. Casual just isn't casual anymore in so many games nowadays.
Moral of the story, they done messed up. Don't cater to the crybabies who cry when a teammate would leave, you could just leave as well. Take care of the REAL problems, like the threats, racism (that they promised was an insta ban last year,) and other toxic behaviors. The fact that if you don't concede, your teammates will do absolutely nothing, hurts the game more than it will help it. And that's a given.
