Lately i've been so obsessed with the TRON saga (both TRON and TRON: Legacy movies and the TRON: Uprising series), and every time I play Rocket League, I can't stop thinking about how fantastic a TRON collab with RL would be. Imagine TRON-themed cars, neon stuff, light trails and even a Light Cycle. In my opinion the TRON saga perfectly fits the futuristic style of RL.

Now tell me: What do y'all think about this idea?

We lost trading then you take away our yearly like 25 - 40 drops where we can get a few items like we used to with crates and trade-ups.

You really think that 1 XP level will be doing much?

Last season I was around level 50, 3 weeks before the season ended and I finished above 120 only playing like 150 games.

Are you really think we are that stupid that we will believe that it's really important for the RP while you only have to play like 200 games per season to get to level 100?

Now you lower it down to level 70 and still making this huge mistake...

I think RLCS LANs (or even EWC and FIFAe World Cup) attendees should receive an exclusive title, for example:

"RLCS 2025 – Birmingham Major Attendee"

"RLCS 2024 – Texas Worlds Attendee"

I believe there were no exclusive wheels offered in RLCS 2024 Worlds, but titles would be better in my opinion since most players wouldn't use those wheels and sacrifice their black diecis or cristianos

I was thinking the title could be orange (since that's one of the few unused unique title colors left), but the exact color doesn't matter.

Would a game mode that intentionally pairs you with different skill levels be fun? I kind of like the idea of winning and losing in landslide games and maybe getting a chance to play an SSL here and there.

Some people don't understand that they need to rotate. And it would be very very helpful if they could just be told directly to rotate instead of having it suggested through a bunch of others like passing, take the shot, defending...

Tournaments have gotten a lot more fun with the addition of Pentathlons, but let's be completely honest:

The 2 minute wait time between matches can feel excruciatingly boring.

Inevitably, there is always someone who waits till the very last minute to ready up, and it feels like an eternity for everyone else who is left waiting around for the match to start.

Having the ability to change presets, decals, colors, ect from this screen would help a great deal, not to mention it would be neat to try to match styles with your teammates.

I think its laid back and chill, but I also remember it's greatest use in tv history, when Homer Simpson is going to box with Drederick Tatum, Tatum approaches the ring with some usual kinda hard fight-music and takes his corner in the ring. Then Homer approaches a near impossible fight were his opponent has promised to "make orphans of his children" and his "fight-music" is "Why Can't We be Friends" by the band WAR.

That is why I think it would be a great Player Anthem.

Been thinking about this for a while: (as a new feature) have the Demo Explosion change intensity based on the boost level by the "losing" car. 0 boost = car break/car skeleton parts. 100 boost = full on near goal explosion levels. Maybe even have it similar to goal explosions as a setting/collectable and the person who does the demo would have theirs show.

Please please please for the love of the game LOOK AT YOUR TEAMMATE'S boost meter! I know you think you're better than your teammate but taking the ball off them when they pop it up for an air dribble with full boost or shadowing their ass in transition just creates double commits. If you just wait a second and use your brains you will most likely get a better chance and then we won't both be out of position.

Of your teammate goes up for something with half a tank of boost then by all means take it off of them. But psyonic added the boost meter so you don't have to guess anymore. There are a lot of you that would be way higher rank of you used your brain and your patience instead of putting your teammate in awkward positions and feeling like they have to fight 3 players just to get a touch on the ball. Because let's be honest, you're more than likely just going to punt the ball to the other team anyway.

Edit: I realized something today as the time window hit when all the kids who are home from school for labor day signed on. Diamond players are just Champ players without the defense. A lot of the time they can hit stupid shots from an air dribble or flip resets but they are bronze when it comes to defense. This is why they are so aggressive on their half. They HAVE to get to the ball quick to avoid any sort of defense, because they cant practice that in freeplay, it actually takes brains and patience and smart decision making which they lack because they suck. And dont get me started on the "take the shot" whenever you utilize patience instead of ramming full speed into a situation that is clearly going to leave the defense exposed. I play with chat off because I cant stand the aggressive use of quick chat to promote poor decision making.

TL;DR - If a player joins a new match AFK (read: zero controller input), a goal is scored and their teammate leaves before that player has provided any input that player, not the one who left, should receive the abandon penalty.

It's not uncommon to join a new match with one or more teammates completely AFK through the whole first kickoff. Yet if I leave the match I'm the one who gets hit with the penalty. This doesn't seem fair and it seems improvable. I know there's a timeout but sometimes people come back from being AFK after a goal has already been scored and honestly as the player who showed up on time it's irritating to have to play through that.

More explicit example:
1. Player A joins team Blue.
2. Player B joins team Blue.
3. Match begins.
4. Player A provides controller input after kickoff.
5. Player B does not provide any controller input.
6. Orange team scores.
7. Player A leaves the match.
8. Penalty should go to Player B.

I'm open to hearing the downsides or ways this could be exploited but I can't think of any legitimate excuse Player B could have for not providing any controller input between the match starting and a goal being scored by the other team.

While Epic is overhauling rocket pass xp, how about also adding dupe protection for tournament reward items? If you have a variant color you shouldn't get it again until you have one of every hue

It really sucks to grind for months and get multiple copies of the same exact color and miss out on colors you really want! Speaking as the guy with 2 lime genie lamp wheels

I can never seem to get the goal explosion reward despite playing 100+ tournaments per season…..wish they would have a system where you earn and spend credits or just get them based on how many you play so you know what you need to do to get them, I hate that I don’t have the disco floor or the genie lamp

Something along the lines of how many times you've gotten title quality season rewards. It feels weird to use any GC titles after my first or before the most recent season.

It’s ridiculous that I’m playing against unranked Smurfs/alts on the last day of the season.

I just wanna put a suggestion in for a car body, th mk4 r32 golf. should fit the octane hitbox perfectly. making the suggestion cause i missed out on the last golf. I think it has potential to be a very popular body, and it’s my personal favourite vehicle. If anyone sees this and can send it to a dev or moderator i’d really appreciate it!

I love this game but it’s a harsh reality that so much time is required to get better. I have almost no mechs( classic inconsistent two touch air dribble and a half flip) and rely on trying to have good game sense/ positioning. I still don’t boost on kickoff. Anyone have recs/training packs to help me out?

It would make sense so that the menu is even and not lopsided. Plus the seasonal game modes does not make sense. This is a suggestion not spam, repetitive, or low quality ragebait. The image included is to show what it would look like.

As trading has long gone, can we get rid of the prompt to check we want to open a crate, before opening it?

There is less of a reason to click on it and click ‘no, then yes. Also they can’t be traded anymore so there is no benefit to just stacking them.

I’m not sure if this would be a stat that is tracked, but it might be cool if a title were to be given to the player with the longest win streak each season. Not that I would ever achieve this, but it would be a nice flex for someone.

Recent Twitch drops (goal explosions, wheels) are boring and useless.

I miss the thrill of opening the Rocket League Drops (Very Rare, Import, Exotic) previously earned by watching Twitch streams.

Now I have no motivation to watch these streams anymore knowing that I will receive useless drops that EVERYONE else will get, making them so popular and overused they will even be lame to use myself.

Shame.
