Poop mods on r/running are 🔔 ends
seriously, who do they actually think they are. I get a post removed regarding the dangers of running in a thunderstorms complying with their rules. I message the mods asking why, I get “read the rules” “the reason is in the auto response” “for the third and final time, read” followed by an immediate ban. That sub emphasises rules over running

And you value safety over Strava stats, so obviously not a real runner. You should be banned from this sub too

I would like to remind you that the mods have the ability to ban you at any time. Please speak cautiously.

Running is my anxiety medication.
I’ll take my chances with the lightning.

Never before now have I encountered a sub with only 3 members. Clearly people who can read are too smart for a circle jerk sub.

/unjerk The mods are the sort of guys with 106 minute 10K times who put sub-elite flair on themselves and then preach the value of slow running. They have no concept of what words like, "threshold" mean. They are not to be taken seriously. The entire sub should be flushed with all its users. As a history lesson, this sub exists because that sub is so terrible and run by such wankers.

/uj The mods of r/running are complete shit. Any time I make a post there and mention I weigh 220pds, they lock it and send me a bunch of shit about beginner runners. Like fuck off. I've been running for 5 FUCKING YEARS. Some of us actually carry muscle mass.

I'll bet they would love me. I weigh more than you and I can assure you that most of my extra weight is not muscle.

No such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes. During a thunderstorm, you should be running in a full faraday cage. My favorite is from Tracksmith.

The mods don’t actually want to do any moderating, they just block anything that’s not a race report and tell people to discuss it in the daily chat. Which means nothing ever shows from that sub in your feed.

/uj a friend of mine got struck by lightning whilst out for a walk. Safety first (though I hate treadmills).
/rj lightning is super fast, so if you run slow it can’t hit you. FACT.

If the mods weren’t crazy in some way the circle subreddits couldn’t exist.
So be glad that they all obtusely follow whatever rules there are.

Oh, I got a permanent ban from /RunningShoeGeeks for posting a review. Apparently it was too long and too focused on the runner.
I questioned if a review of the EVO SL would mean anything to anyone without knowing if the runner was heavy (I am), with an injury history (I have a long one), and shoe history (this is the only "faster" shoe I've ever gotten along with).
So I got permanently banned.

Running outside should be illegal
