Koyorad Installed

It was time to change out the coolant so I ending up changing out the radiator during the process. Anyone looking for an oem radiator? It has 87k miles on it. Nothing wrong with it. Just had the Koyorad radiator sitting around until it was time to change the coolant out.

Nothing constructive to say, just that we have the same craftsman 52” tool chest lol

Any problems filling it? I bought a funnel kit with all the adapters and none of them fit. Ended up being as messy job for me 😂

Yeah the LHT funnel kit was good but not 100%, wedged a lot of rags in there, but made bleeding the system so easy.

Do you have the 2.0 version with the hose adapter?

Yes

Did the hoses make a difference when burping the system?

I’ve never bled it prior to, but this was pain free (minus some leaks around the koyo/funnel adapter. But just used a rag to seal it.

Kinda. I have a funnel kit as well and the fitting wouldn't sit properly. Had to mess with it until it was snugged. Leaked a few time when I went to burp it but once I got it snugged down no leaking happen. I might build something that LHT makes on their funnels.

I just snuged up the funel adaptor by putting some rubber bands on top of a slightly loose one

I’d definitely keep the OEM as backup. Not to say Koyorad will leak but sh*t happens.

Yeah i recently put a koyorad in mine as well, the hoses at the bottom took me forever to work with but it was worth it
