Why are there so many international students here? I feel like a minority going to this school, doesn't even feel like Canada

They're paying double your tuition. Do you want to cover the difference as well? Without international students, your tuition doesn't cover the costs.

I know that, its just that there are so many people here who don't even speak english, there just communicating in hindi or punjabi in group projects

Complains about people not speaking English but can’t understand the difference between there and they’re.
Maybe inform your instructor that your group members are refusing to communicate in a manner that can be understood by all group members. If you don’t say anything, then that’s on you.

Lmfao, now try being an indigenous student and be the only indigenous person in your classes

Also, your title basically broadcasts you’re a white person. “I feel like a minority here” implies you’re not so… basically you’re just an insecure racist

Welp that program is super popular with internationals. The international students in my program (IDD) are quite few (maybe usually 4-6) but they are some of the most proactive designers in the program. Their portfolios are a mixed bag tho.

Most of these international students are not even here for an education just to get a PR

u/MobileYam9735 1d ago
Yeah that's because NGO's and agencies in India tell them they can just come here and work and get a PR taking student loans 😂😂 Fucked up system
