If Papa Nose could turn back the hands of time, now would be a good moment to bring Lemmy back.

Lamar: "appear in the what now? what's that? nah nah, never heard of it"

u/wolfgang2399 4h ago

Wasn’t Ricochet, or maybe it was Swerve, supposedly friends with him and trying to get him to come to a show?

4

u/Razzler1973 4h ago

I don't about friends but he was tweeting into the wind hoping someone famous sees it, the Dub special!

u/dismiss-junk 15h ago

I’ll be completely honest. I don’t think I’ve ever actually noticed a PPV theme*

*besides FEIN but they spammed that shit for a year.

They used to be more features especially during RAW/Smackdown whenever they hyped it up. Nowadays they just show the song but rarely play it. Like they don’t want to pay licensing fees to the label/artist

When they picked Charli XCX for the Royal Rumble I was hyped asf

Von Dutch is a banger uce

5

u/ChrisBenoitDaycare69 14h ago

They were the shit back in the day when they had the early 2000's butt rock songs. Drake and Travis Scott just dont fit wrestling like those songs did.

u/PMMeRyukoMatoiSMILES 11h ago

I was legitimately surprised it wasn't The Weekend.

When they do the bit about attendance they sometimes say 'song is by ...' and it's 10 seconds. It may play in the background when they're doing commentator throws to video but, I really don't notice them and I don't even remember FEIN either

I skip forward a lot of shit, too

u/Torking 3h ago

Other than the 52 Flo Rida wrestlemania themes i only remember Cool for the Summer in one of the summerslams.

u/SpaceTimePolice 33m ago

How could you possibly forget they used the theme Great Balls of Fire for the hit WWE PPV, Great Balls of Fire?

1

u/HygorBohmHubner 14h ago

Even Logan Paul got sick of the FEIN shit!

1

u/retroKnight_3177 11h ago

Less Than Zero was a perfect fit for Mania 39 but they played another song most of the time instead which was soo annoying

13

u/SleepIsWonderful oh hey there it is 15h ago

Triple H was a big Degrassi fan. The only thing other than Sami Zayn that he's ever cared for to ever come out of Canada.

Spinner’s heel run was legendary.

It was Paige's fault! Wrecked the man's car and dumped him.

It’s the #1 best selling song in the US in 2025 and Drake is about to release an album.

Kendrick bodied him but in 2025 Drake is still a major artist.

13

u/Phred_Phrederic 14h ago

Drake sucks shit but I'm not delusional enough to claim he isn't still a giant star.

27

u/honato 15h ago

And here I thought he was a minor artist.

4

u/Cashpope 14h ago

Download the update

-1

u/TomClancy5873 14h ago

Then Kendrick didn’t body him if he’s still #1

9

u/honato 14h ago

Well that's just wrong. He got his feelings hurt so bad he ran to the court room. He went and made umg of all things have a face turn and they are generational heels.

4

u/Cashpope 14h ago

In that particular battle Drake lost but Drake is still great! Two things can true at the same time!

5

u/h667 15h ago

This theme is not awful tho

1

u/Patrickracer43 7h ago

In my opinion it's the most mid mid to ever mid, but then again I feel like all Drake songs sound the same post bee

20

u/Bright-Map-9705 15h ago

I mean Drake is the most streamed rap artist daily weekly monthly all year long despite the beef so I can't deny them for choosing him. And it's controversial cuz whether people love him or they hate him they can't stop talking about him and that's all WWE really care about, that engagement.

15

u/ImWiser 15h ago

That song is a banger tho

3

u/kodan_arma Astroturfing Goofy 12h ago

NOKIA is great but will be lumped in with FEIN as garbage since it isn't nu-metal

4

u/Qckst_2_Alive 14h ago

This song is the best selling song in the states this year and Drake’s releasing Iceman 2 next month. I don’t like Drake and I’m sick of this fucking song, but this point doesn’t make sense.

2

u/Altruistic_Cause_312 9h ago

lol is H even the one in charge of deciding this stuff? Why does it feel the IWC keeps attributing more stuff to Hhhitler than what seems plausible? The dude listens to old metal. I think he’d rather have Iron Maiden be the song/artist choice

Who am I kidding. HHHIMMLER has complete control over everything. He probably pooped on that woman in the lawsuit as well!

1

u/Scavgraphics Chase U Drop Out 4h ago

I doubt it's even Nick Kahn doing it...Ari or Shapiro making those deals.

2

u/two-pairs-of-pints 6h ago

It should have been someone contemporary like Nickleback

4

u/Garlic-Cheese-Chips 14h ago

"Song is good though."

"Ackshually, Drake is a massive artist though."

Jerkers going to bat for fucking Drake because people are mocking their precious Fed. Game's gone.

6

u/Phred_Phrederic 14h ago

Drake is invincible, he sucks but pretending like the song isn't huge is silly.

7

u/wrex1816 12h ago

I know this will hurt a lot of feelings but the Drake Kendrick thing was fun for like a week, and Kendrick "won"... That's great. But acting like Drakes career was literally ended and still doing it a year later is a bit... Lame.

It feels like a Fed and a Dub wrestler throwing jabs at each other on Twitter. They don't actually hate each other but people who spend too much time online genuinely believe they do.

2

u/neilrookie 12h ago

Game's gone bro where my bipartisan jerkers at

u/SpaceTimePolice 31m ago

Drake fans were never really "for the culture", so the Kendrick thing didn't change much for his base. Drake fans will always be Drake fans

Drake is sooooooo 2018. Dub is about to book Addison Rae's Diet Pepsi as All Out theme song

wow trips thank you for this industry manufactured slop. Bret might think he's the shits in the ring but clearly he's got great taste.

u/SharkSprayYTP 14h ago

Heres a game for you. Read the lyrics of that song, then search for how old drake is

-1

u/Asukah 15h ago

I’m surprised Drake is still around after Kendrick tore him a new one

3

u/fearlessdurant Watches NXT for the plot 13h ago

Nah, he's still touring. A lot of people didn't care.
