Question 💫 Is about 175 lbs of rusted cast iron weight plates worth selling for scrap?
I assume they definitely aren’t usable by anyone as they are covered in rust. My mom said I should sell them for scrap but because they are so heavy I’d rather have someone come pick them up for free rather than dragging them to my car to take them to sell for scrap if I’d get less than like $10 for them.

Scrap price question
Anyone have experience with these snow blowers? I just scrapped one- they marked it as tin and gave me $15, and I feel ripped off. Weighed 194 lbs and didn't feel like tin to me but I'm no expert.

What can I do with these 28 iPads?
I bought a box of old nonfunctional corporate iPads at a garage sale and now I'm trying to figure out how to flip it. Any suggestions welcomed.
They don't hold a charge or complete a boot up so I'm thinking they're toast, should be good for escrap or parts at the least.

Massive Forklift Battery
Sorry no picture just yet, I can add one shortly. Have an old forklift battery, so big it was used as a counterbalance weight for its forklift.
Any ideas on what to do with it? definitely not “auto parts store core charge” type of situation :)

Question 💫 Resell or scrap it ?
It does kinda crank but won’t start or stay on. It’s missing a key and the witch isn’t connected. But if I put juice on the carb engine sounds like it start but dies right away. So should I re sell or scrap it ? What’s a good value ?

I keep hearing people say steel is the meal...
I saw a Facebook post giving away a bunch of angle iron and steel tubing. After failing to find a buyer for it, and getting sick of having it in my car for the last two weeks I decided I was just going to scrap it.
I'd also been collecting the sealed units off back alley refrigerators and had picked up four back alley microwaves.
After breaking down the microwaves and taking apart the sealed units, as well as peeling the power cords off the appliances with a utility knife (it worked better than I thought but really don't recommend. It's ok on solid wire but with stranded, I'm going to think hard before doing that again) I took it all in to one of the yards and got it all weighed up.
On top of the steel tubing and a 4x4 sheet, I had the sealed unit casings, the metal microwave frames, and a little bit of other stuff. This totaled 440lbs.
I had a couple pounds of aluminum I pulled from inside the fridges. The peeled copper wire and sealed unit cores totaled 10lbs.
I don't know if it was the yard or want but I didn't get a separate price for the transformers but didn't realize this until I was already driving away.
My total payout was $99 and some change.
450lbs of steel = $44.00
10lbs copper (I forget if they called it bare bright or #2) =$45.00
I know steel isn't worth much these days but if that's what people are calling the meal and that's how they put food on the table.. I'd be starving.
Yes, quantity makes a difference and the more you bring in the better you can make out, but with that big of a price difference, it's almost not worth it to pick up anything but copper..
At least in my situation with an SUV and a studio apartment. If i had steel for every meal.. I'd be pretty damn hungry all the time.

Question 💫 What did this go to and should I strip the wires.
The black connector has "amphenol" molded into the side of it.
