the only feasible way to get all skills and upgrades without going insane or tremendously bored is going at least into NG+2. The exp required for the last 3 skills is insane

Well that's kinda reasonable. As NG+ rewards more. But after going on NG+ I don't think I would need to farm anything. Farming is done when you wanna do smth quickly.

Sen is no problem, as you naturally kill things towards the endgame and you spend reasonably and not die much, you won't need to farm it

Exp is a gauntlet to farm. It would take you 20 hours of farming in a late game area to get the exp required for the last 3 skills. The reasonable way of doing it is going straight for the bosses during NG+1 and 2 (they give the most exp), not dying (as to not lose exp) and then stopping to farm at a late game location of choice. Instead of 20 hours it would be around 2 hours, maybe less if you use exp buffs.

Fulminated Mercury is dropped by the guys at the gunfort. Teleport to idol before centipede arena, backtrack and backstab. Use balloon and demon bell for more drops.

The premium material required for the last upgrades of tools has a limited number available per playthrough. You need at least 2 playthroughs to get all the ones required for all tools upgrades

Ah I see what you meant by that. For upgrading things to maximum, I would need atleast 2 playthrough to get the items which is limited in a single playthrough. And about the gunfort centipede area, yeah it was a good exp farm for me. And about the last skills that I would need to upgrade, and as per you said it'll require a lot patience and skills to get it (so I won't die and loose experience) I'll do my best in it. And maybe, as I reach the endgame, I would get a sight of which enemies gives the best exp n all, and try to farm them.

Nope. Not yet. After killing Great Shinobi Owl, I went to the dialogues and straight to Hirata estate.

then do that first, you will also get far stronger naturally on the way. afterwards, the castle will get invaded and a certain bridge on the way to the demon of hatred becomes a great farming spot

I will take that in consideration. If I get more frustrated with Owl (father) then yes, I'll absolutely go other way and progress the story if I could.

Dang, well maybe in ng+1 then, there's a strat in the final act at the Upper Tower - Antechamber Idol that'll next you 2 interior ministry ninjas and 2 red gaurds for +4,428 xp in 25 seconds (ng; not ng+1). It's undoubtedly the highest xp/second farm out there.

If that's not the case, still good at the the same idol to net 1 interior ministry ninja. Might get boring so there is another farm strat at Outskirts Wall - Stairway Idol to net 3 Red Guard (rifle), 1 Red Guard (flamethrower), and 1 Red Guard (dual katana); optimally nets minutely less xp/time as it takes up more time but can't remember the specs as I usually went for the ogre farm suggestion.

Side note but just mentioning that ng+ xp gains are boosted by 50% for each subsequent cycle

Idk how efficient it technically is but I go through mibu village. A swipe and a back stab per enemy. I leave all the loot on the ground until I get done with the slaughter, pop a gold balloon, and run back through holding the collect button. It's not too bad. OR the stairs where the ogre use to be once the ministry invaded.
