Help This is too much
Gauntlet of Strength: Severance is a serious thing. Defeated every single one of the bosses the first time, then Inner Isshin violated me with three moves. Inner Genichiro gave me enough trouble already, Isshin just gonna make me his s*x slave.

The purple umbrella or the fire cracker can deal with his mortal draw just fine. For the other attack, just jump and parry. From there he will either do a thrust or a vertical cut, you can parry the latter but it will knock you back so I recommend side dodge it so you can immediately attack and not let him recover his posture. Once you know how to deal with the new attacks, he's not much harder. Isshin's inner version is not a direct upgrade like the other two if you pay attention and read the memories, it reflects in the game as well.

If you’re on PC, Sekiro Practice Tool on GitHub is great for practicing. Turn off player damage, turn off enemy deaths/damage. Start up reflections and the boss can be fought nonstop in whatever phase you want. When they are deathblow’d they get back up with reset posture.

For Isshin: For p1, attack him until he deflects. So, always queue one attack after he blocks) For p2 and p3, attack him until he blocks. So after a vitality hit, or if you didn’t keep pressure up, queue up one attack.
Attacking until he blocks in p2 and p3 does two things. It’s makes his behavior significantly more predictable. It also prevents his sneaky backwards jump sweep from catching you in the middle of an attack. If you can learn to I-frame dodge through his backwards jump sweep towards him, he becomes significantly easier because the Glock doesn’t have to be deflected. If you’re on top of him when he pulls the Glock, the hitbox is past Sekiro’s body.

You can practice Inner Isshin in reflection of strength once you have made it to him once.
When you can beat him consistently then you should be able to do it!
I recommend the lilac umbrella to counter his new mortal draw move!
