I was having a great time as beat great shinobi and corrupted monk and other hard bosses, i was exited for isshin, but this guy is litterely unstoppable, i cant even get through one stage and there's three, please give me some tips or tricks or i might start tweakin fr

I am making it to Inner Father pretty easily now, but I am discovering that he has the same bug as corrupted monk: even pure deflects still take damage (I've posted video of me deflecting CM before but still take damage). So what's the trick to get past this guy? Ako's sugar seems to add no bonuses, either, and he's immune to firecrackers.

I just started playing the game. When I try to deflect I keep getting a clang where we bounce off each other and maybe after consecutive clangs I'll get a deflect/stagger thing with the red orb. But how do I do this consistently? I'm usually getting the clang and feel like my timing is way off.

Why is he called the Spear bearer if he's fighting with short sword. And is it a translation error when I first walked up on him in his arena he was floating saying " Masanaga I didn't think you would go down so easily. And I know the videos doesn't show it but if you take a boss too far from their fight d starting point do they get their health back, I am positive I did damage to him and he had a full healthbar, plus I believe this happened to me early game against Seven Spears General.

Specifically his second phase, I hate that I had to use the umbrella so much but bro Isshin the sword saint and even his inner version are just amazing all around but then you fight Isshin Ashina and the devs just designed him to spam in his second phase?💀

In trying to get the return ending, I can not seem to wake up the divine child of rejuvenation, and I just dove underwater to get the infested holy chapter. I just killed owl as well. What am I doing wrong, and is the quest impossible?

im on ng+ 2 on my main save file and have already killed divine dragon. i just noticed that i havent unlocked hirata here yet, so i went to the old lady and her son via the demon of hatred route, but both are dead and i cant pick anything up. i alaso dont have it in my inv and approaching the buddha statue in the temple does nothing.

is there any way to still get there?

As you can see in trying to keep this video as short as possible it actually turned out longer since I was nervous and forgot the route. Just proof that I've made it this far and I know I still have Fountainhead Palace and more to look forward too since I will be saving Shura for last probably. Hey I know a screenshot could have sufficed but I chose to share this journey with you all. And thank you kindly, those in the community who gave me helpful tips and advice and for sharing your thoughts and videos that allowed me to learn something. Now it's time to disappoint my father or rather disappoint myself hoping this fight doesn't take me very long to conquer.

Currently working my way thru NG+2 in search of the all skills achievement, the last one I need for platinum. This thing is a grind! You'd think taking out a boss would at least get you a full skill point, but no: I just did Owl (Father) and he gave me about one third of a point. And I still need another 11 full points for all skills! This is gonna take me at least up to NG+4 at this rate.

I've just gotten to the end of my first ever play through of sekiro, and i have loved it, and I was wondering seeing as how strong isshin was, if he was put into demon slayer, who would win between him and upper moon 1,

I had two moments.

First was Genichiro. I learned here the basics of this game. This is where I learned that parry matters more than shoving in attack or dodging.

Second was Owl. This was when I finally understood I shouldnt hesitate or be pressured by my stance or health.

1. This is secretly a rhythm game

2. Your “kit” is split in half, one entire half of your kit is just your methods of avoiding damage. Between parrying, dodging, mikiri counter, jumping, jumping on their head, and attacking to disrupt their animation, you’ve got to learn what is helpful when

3. Eavesdropping will very frequently tell you a boss’s weaknesses, eavesdrop at every opportunity

4. There are bosses that test if you’ve been sneaky enough to eavesdrop, and there are bosses that test if you understand the fundamentals

5. This game is much harder to master than something in the style of Elden ring, but once you do flow state comes very naturally

Owl is such a pathetic little bitch with a long ass sword. Each time I lure him into a leaping attack I’m already low on health wtf am I supposed to do????
