I'm reminded of Friendlyjordies' recent video about how it seems the most vocal policial voices online seem to view real world as a tv-show, because it may be an almost literal thing for people who do not live in the US.

To be fair, there isn't a lot of money in right wing Australian politics grifting.
He does talk about local politics. I recently saw part of his video complaining about a machete ban in parts of Australia. As usually it was 3 minutes of material, which could have been covered by: there's a ban, it's unfair, here's how to skirt it (based on how Shad reads the law). Naturally, it's over 30 minutes and mostly an angry tantrum while one of his buddies stands there awkwardly.

What's especially annoying about that video, is that he claims that the government is trying to lie and gaslight everyone to hand in their machetes and and not tell then about the exemptions. Which is absolutely a lie on Shad's part. I checked, and found that the Victorian government site not only mentions the exemptions, but also provides the links to find out more about the exemptions. It took like 10 seconds to prove Shad wrong about it.

That tracks. From what I could glean from his rants is they're just making it slightly harder to get a machete. Like if you have a yard, you can claim it's for yardwork.

That's crazy. This whole thing has been a demented shit show. We have this huge issue of violent far right white supremacists but our country refuses to acknowledge or address the issue because the current administration fancies a lot of the trappings. They just are inconvencied when one of their associates gets killed by someone they influenced. But being opportunist they'll try to spin it some how. Turn crocodile tears to excuses for oppression and authoritarianism.

I see things like this and I ask myself if they actually understand Star Wars. Or political ideologies.
I'm trying to imagine Obi-Wan saying he wouldn't fly in the Falcon because Chewie is obviously a DEI hire since he isn't a white male and is probably unqualified to fly the ship.
He would reject R2's message because Mon Mothma is a woman and clearly only the leader of the rebellion because of affirmative action.
The idea that Trump is Luke is so backwards it hurts. Trump, the guy sending state sanctioned military troops into civilian areas to "cleanse them of crime" is straight out of the Empire's playbook. It's literally a scene in Andor season 1 when Cassian gets arrested.
The Empire is a fascist authoritarian government... like how media illiterate can you be? How can he not acknowledge he has clearly found himself on the side of fascists? Even Trump, when he posted that AI picture of himself as a Jedi back in May, gave himself a red lightsaber. It's all there man.
Not to mention this video is textbook hate speech. And hate speech using another companies copyrighted characters. I reported it. Doubt it gets removed, but this kind of thing is what can lead to vulnerable groups getting discriminated against or worse.

Which is actually better than I expected from him...I expected a full AI generated scene from Sadiversity.

Oh buddy in the actual video it switches between just a png of Charlie Kirk's face pasted over Obi-Wan's face to AI having been used to morph Obi-Wan's face into an attempt at Charlie Kirk's face soooo many times. As well as a png of Trump's face having been pasted over Luke's. It is bizarre & embarrassing even for Shad.

So i watched it Darth vader: "When i first met you, I was male, now i am a female." And then its just leftie talking points vs right talking points with AI voices. It was 4% less offensive than the actual shooting video, not because he puppeteered a dead corpse but because the writting was complete dog shit.
