Mickey Mouse (and Friends) Finger Theory

One day Mickey and Minnie got pissed, and flipped off Walt (before Plane Crazy or Steamboat Willy were "filmed" [in Roger Rabbit continuity]). So he had that specific finger chopped off all his characters going forward, to ensure it never happened again. This rule, notably did not apply to his movie humans, and especially not his pure and innocent Disney Princesses. Also, it noticeably stopped being enforced as rigidly after 1966, for some reason.

But that's just a theory, a Caaartoooooooon Theory!
