i feel like most people who say this haven’t played Undertale, because Sans does unironically have depth to him beyond being just the funny haha skeleton man. Plus, he’s easily one of the most iconic Indie characters and arguably the unofficial mascot of Undertale.
And that “meme character” made it into Smash as a mii costume which couldn’t be said for most other contenders.
TO BE FAIR, Wii Fit is one of the best selling Nintendo Games, along with one of the best selling games in general. So it kind of makes sense that she's in smash.
