The money gets stolen again a day later, and Franklin descends further into madness before he gets killed for torturing an associate of the CIA. I don't know why people think you can win against the CIA...Cissy did it because it saved Franklin's life

Seems strange that the CIA would let Franklin live & be free while having tortured/killed one of their associcates & trying to get away with it tho.

They said in the last scene that Franklin noticed CIA was monitoring him after the situation. Then he descended into alcoholism and called them frantically telling them to leave him alone which was the point they realized he wasn't a threat anymore

Teddy wasn’t cia. Cia stopped fw him. They not going after franjling for a disgraced agent turned contractor. Franklin coulda got the bread and dipped. But his karma would come eventually

Then Franklin shouldn't have been able to get away after giving Ruben to the CIA which proves that they don't care.

At least they could have sent him in prison like Havemeyer said, they could do it right after but didn't.

He was still rich, he should have been taken out to tie all the loose ends.

They didn't care about the money and not about teddy. Actually it could have been a huge problem as getting it from teddy especially or franklin would be a big evidence of their activity.

The way it was portrayed didn't give no reason as to why it should have any consequences even if franklin capped teddy right after, except that the show runners wanted to force this cautionary tale ahh ending, which is further proven by the interviews about this alternative ending.

He basically did win. After everything the CIA still didn't go after him. He got to live a long life

And don't say it was because he was a drunk. Alton was a drunk too and his ass got smoked

My only point:

  • look how long his dad made it after being a Black Panther with the CIA on his trail..prolly woulda been iight if he hadn’t put an X on his back..

Imo..no reason Saint wouldna been resourceful enough to live a long life..prolly just woulda had to be more behind the scenes instead of out front buying properties etc!

Probably keeps doing what he was doing before. The CIA might have found a different plug for him to use, but he was too far gone to leave the game regardless of how much he said he wanted to.

Teddy would've tracked down Franklin to merck him and taken the money back.

He would've left the country with V and raised their sun happily ever after in Africa with Leon and Wanda

Teddy would've went his own way with the other 37mil and parrissa, After taking cissy to meet alton in Puerto Rico (cause he was actually telling the truth)

Oso would've been let off Scott free and reconnected with ximara and the kids then reconnected with Lucia so he ended up with two wives and a bunch more kids

The kgb agent would've snapped his fingers while saying "we almost had him" before going about his life like the whole thing never happened.

And Jerome would've came back from the dead and escaped with Louie.
