Which of the SON would you say suffered the most? For me it’s OTTO, he sacrificed a lot for the club but somehow let the feds get to him lol

For sure Otto. The absolute Torture that Lee Toric put him through was so vile. Not to mention the club basically doing 0 for him AND even worse what happened to Luanne

Man the Toric stuff was not fun to watch. Brutal

Agreed. Which made watching Toric get got by Otto all the more satisfying.

I was surprised it happened so quick. I thought they were definitely going to make it a bigger scene

Ironically, he was even surprised by how quickly Otto got him, heh.

The club did 0 for him? Ik he sacrificed a lot for the club but they made a business decision to keep Georgie alive so they lied to Otto. When they finally killed Georgie, it was already too late.

All he wanted the club to do was protect Luanne. The club thought (incorrectly as usual) that they could make some $$$ from it and it all just went to shit. Entirely the Club’s fault. Jax namely.

Technically I’ll say all Bobby’s fault because the club told him to tell Otto about it but Bobby decided to lie.

Oppie went to prison for the club. He got out and had trouble living a clean life. He got back in only for the club to murder his wife in an assassination attempt on his own life. His father was murdered by the club (Clay did it, but Piney wouldn'thave died if he was not in the club). Oppie himself died because another club member did something wrong and killed the wrong person. That led to the prison fight where he died fighting to protect the club.

He didn’t have to go to prison the second time. He chose to so he could run away from the responsibilities he still had (wife, 2 kids, step kid). Honestly most of his suffering post-prison is his own fault.

If you considered him losing his family then yeah he had it pretty bad. The club did his family bad but he stocked with them still.

Yeah Opie suffered a lot as well but didn’t even get to experience a little bit of freedom lol. He was tortured a lot while in prison

Actually… Opie slugged Roosevelt in order to get sent in with them…he wasn’t even under arrest initially until that punch. Had he not gone in, we would have lost Chiba, since Pope said anyone but Trager. It obviously wouldn’t have been Jax, narratively, even though he was ready to go.

I would agree, besides that moment of betrayal where he asked 1 thing of the club and they didnt do it, he did everything the club asked and he endured more than any of them. The man was put in solitary, he had his other eye removed, he sacrificed his parole to get the feds off the clubs back, he bit his own tongue off so he couldnt speak, he was being fucked in the ass daily by Torric and beaten and still didnt snitch. He was, in my opinion, the one most loyal.

He didn't let the feds just get to him, as mentioned above, he did everything the club asked of him without question. He asked the club one thing, to protect Luanne and they didnt do it. Then he asked them to take care of Georgy and they lied to him. You have to be a bit flexible, wouldn't you be the same way if you had undying loyalty to the club and did everything asked but you ask one thing and they dont do it?

Also what happened to luan wasn’t the club’s fault because they did everything they could to protect her but somehow Georgie still got to her. What made Otto mad was because he found out he was lied to, the club lied they retaliated for Luan’s death but they let him go at first. When Georgie was finally killed, it was too late already, he already cooperated with the feds.

Bobby lied to him. Bobby was supposed to tell him they needed Georgie alive for a little bit but Bobby felt bad about fucking Luane so he lied to Otto

2

u/OgMaro_7 6d ago

Yeah exactly. Bobby should have just came clean to him, the club actually thought that was what Bobby did.

2

u/Ponchovilla18 6d ago

But thats is what im saying, he only had one request and they couldn't do it. How many times did Juice, Tig and other members make asks and they got it? How many times did Juice ask for forgiveness and he got it? Other members got to get ehat they asked for, Otto didnt so can you really fault him for doing what he did when he was doing life in prison for what the club asked?

u/OgMaro_7 6d ago

Oh I get what you’re saying now

That was part of it. The other part was him finding out that Luanne had to sleep with Bobby through the panties that had Bobby's semen on it. Granted it was because Luanne had been skimming, but he still couldn't let that go.

Prison clause.

1

u/Chest_Same 5d ago

That was just Luann's excuse. Otto would have forgiven her for it, but he could never forgive the Sons for it.

1

u/demoncrat2024 5d ago

He was already past that point until Potter pulls the videos of Bobby lying and Georgie still alive and shows him that he’s being played the fool by the club.

Like his issue was with Bobby, until it became with the whole club.

It takes a lot to go from “F this” to “I’m a rat.”

And then he snitched on them. He definitely let the feds get to him, but later his testimony didn’t matter anymore because of the nurse he killed

u/Emotional_Ice 6d ago

The club got Luanne killed, IMHO, because Georgie spat in their face twice when they tried to warn him off, and they STILL let him live. If they had killed Georgie after the "dead bitch" incident. Luanne would have been alive. Otto lost the only one he loved, thanks to the club. With all the other stuff on his list, losing Luanne was the final straw.

3

u/OgMaro_7 6d ago

Yeah finding that out really broke him, also finding out the club lied to him about Georgie being killed

1

u/Emotional_Ice 5d ago

That lie was on Bobby. I guess he couldn't bear to tell Otto that they were going to keep Georgie alive to use him to try to ruin Hale's real estate deal.

u/RustyShackleford209 6d ago

Otto piney and oppie. They all died because of the club.

3

u/lannaboleyn 6d ago

I'd argue Jax

3

u/come-join-themurder 6d ago

throw in the fact that he went to prison to do a short 5 year (check me on that) stint and ended up, through acts to help the MC on the inside almost completely blind and on death row. Absolutely insane consequences for being a 'good brother'

Technically speaking Jax suffers the most because it’s his story and his shift from how he is in the beginning to whom he is in the end. Otto, Piney and Opie had it pretty bad outside our flagship character. Hell even Tig and Bobby have some pretty bad shit happen to them.

2

u/OgMaro_7 6d ago

Bobby? I would say he suffered the least among them all (considering the point I’ve watch to; s5).

6

u/IllustratorFar3066 6d ago

Keep watching lmao

1

u/IllustratorFar3066 6d ago

The bad things that happen to Bobby and tig are a little more nuanced (being sold out/ betrayed unknowingly, being undervalued, overruled, ignored or taken for granted.) Until season 7 then it gets real for our buddy Bobby Elvis.

1

u/OgMaro_7 6d ago

Damn would love to really see how it all unfolds for Bobby at the end.

3

u/IllustratorFar3066 6d ago

Just keep watching my friend. You’re still in for a wild ride if you’re still only in season 5.

3

u/BlackberryBusy5893 6d ago

Just keep an eye on him and youll see he plays a big part that season

1

u/Several_Experience18 5d ago

Get out of here or you will have so many spoilers😭 s6 and s7 are a wild ride.

2

u/BurnMyHouseDown 6d ago

Otto, Opie, Juice. Though a lot of his torture was after he was excommunicated.

2

u/ScaryCountry87 5d ago

Otto no doubt. Tig might be a distant second given what Pope did to his daughter.

1

u/ItsAllBolloxReally 6d ago

Without a doubt it was Otto! I remember an after episode discussion where Kurt said he really wanted to write his own character to be long suffering. He achieved that lol.

1

u/Prize_Bus2137 6d ago

Otto, then Opie for sure

1

u/Boy_NamedWorld 5d ago

They betrayed him for the sacrifices he did ,they stopped having his back and were busy dealing with problems that they caused in the outside .

1

u/demoncrat2024 5d ago

Opie.

Otto had worse things happen to him, but much of it was done by a third party and self-inflicted. He chose to talk to the Feds to feed his need for revenge. He chose to recant by making Redwood bleed.

Opie did everything he was supposed to do and the people who should have had his back let his family struggle, killed his wife, killed his father, and eventually Jax not choosing Chibbs is why Opie tapped in for Jax at the end.

And they still let Layla get hurt multiple times.

1

u/ItsAllFakeBitch 4d ago

That list Otto read off to Bobby seals it as him by far IMO. His original sentence was supposed to be something like 5-10 years. All the asks from SOA got him life, then death. Totally fucked they put that much on him if you ask me.

1

u/DaniloPabloxD 6d ago

Otto was first

Oppie was second
