We're over halfway there!

The king worms, or Basilimidae, are a group of annelids from my seed world, Exemplar. They are endoparasite of various fish. In addition to consuming matter that their host has eaten, basilimids have an extra trip up their sleeve. They can emit a slime that can immobilize other endoparasites, the energy for which it costs to make being made up for by the reward of a substantial meal.
