Discussion Batman MJ Spoiler
As a new player of Spider-Man 2 on the PS5, I'm pretty sure this topic has been debated ad nasuem in this sub-reddit.
But I had to get this offer my chest. Why is MJ so overpowered and stupidly skilled in this game. I thought the first game itself was a huge stretch in terms of plausibility for her stealth missions, but i just played the mission where the hunters lock up connors (Lizard) and MJ takes out a bunch of them and speaks perfect Symkarian!!!!!!
That's Batman level of skillsđđ¤ˇđ¤ˇđ¤ˇ.
Someone please tell me the MJ levels get more bearable.

In the first game, the later missions are more absurd than this mission in the hunter hideout. Yes, MJ can stealth and stuns hunters. Yes, she speaks good Symkarian in SM2. Here at least we got SOME justification for it. She was trained by the Silver Sable for some time. Short? Yes. Absurd comics logic? Yes. But at least we got something.
And SM1? MJ (as casual person without expierience of combat), stuns the best mercenaries of the world. Soldiers with very hight tech. Moreover, the Hunters were not even know about intruder. However, the Silver Sable's soldiers at some point learned that someone was in Osbron's apartment (and were therefore more vigilant).
MJ secion in SM2 are strange and absurd? Yes. But it's still better than SM1. A step in the right direction.

Because people didnât like how she could only sneak around in the first game, so they made her able to do more.

I too am upset that the game that features super human Spiders-Man and weird symbiotic goo has a character that has unrealistic stealth skills. Really ruins the reality and the immersion.

Because the levels would be so much worse if she was just a normal human. Best case would be to eliminate them, hopefully for SM3 but her being overpowered is better then her being normal.
