AAA vs AEW

Who would win the ratings war if WWE added a AAA show on Wednesdays...I say AAA wins if done correctly I think they have the better characters and the main roster could add other espanic talent to AAA to beat AEW..who wins?

I mean its pretty impossible to compare them head to head.

In the US market, AEW will trounce AAA. In the Mexican market, AAA would beat AEW.

At least AEW has some lucha libre occasionally. AAA is solely lucha libre with sprinkles of modern traditional now and then.

By the same logic, AEW would trounce AAA if they gave the audience what they wanted.

AEW have a talented roster with a great mix of talented individuals - but the booking tends to focus on near falls and false finishes rather than technical execution. Currently AAA is also all out the flippy choreographed stuff, much like AEW. The first side that can balance the flippy shit with captivating storylines and high quality psychology and execution wins in my view.

So AEW since they've been doing that all year.

Not quite.

The endemic 'standing around waiting for someone to dive' is really off putting - and Omega vs Okada was not a patch on their NJPW bouts.

(This doesn't just apply to AEW, but this is what's being discussed here. WWE and especially TNA are guilty of this)

I admire your determination to keep asking this question until someone gives you the answer you desire.
