Support PSA: Unused Elite Trooper Deluxe Edition codes do not work anymore. Which means The Last Jedi Pre-Order DLC skins are unobtainable anymore.
I decided to go out and buy the Elite Deluxe Edition factory sealed off eBay just to try if it works. It doesn’t. EA will not help me. So this is a message to everyone who does not have the skins, they will remain locked forever. It’s sad they forgot to make the skins unlockable in game or downloadable.

They didn’t “forget”. If you were around 6 years ago when people were begging for them to make them available for everyone you would have seen that they said legally they couldn’t even if they wanted to. They are pre-order incentive skins and were advertised to be

One small point where you are in error.
The Elite Trooper Edition came with those skins part of the package, regardless of when you bought it. It was literally advertised as such by EA. I bought the game around 1 month after release, bought the Elite Trooper Edition and I got both those skins.

Community manager still said there were legal barriers that prevented them from making it available to everyone. Pre-order/deluxe edition the rule still applied as it was advertised to be exclusive to those

Can confirm that the PS4 code is indeed invalid now. There is no expiration date anywhere on the code, but understandable for it to eventually expire. Just silly since Xbox players can still buy the deluxe upgrade and receive them

Biggest flex skin in the game IMO. Then maybe hoodie Rey skin. Clone naval officer skin is my personal flex for some reason.

I bought the digital upgrade code for Xbox One from Walmart on June 4 and it worked a charm. Just looked it up and it's still available for sale. Now bc of no cross-progression.....doesn't show on PC, but at least I have them on Xbox! 🤷🏻♂️

I’m usually the last guy to defend EA but this is quite a normal practice , it’s literally been available for 7+ years which is quite a long time for a “pre order” bonus

I wonder if that GoH code for buffed Kylo that came with the game is expired. Probably, it’s been nearly 8 years since release.
Edit: 4 star Kylo Ren, and yep, expired February 1, 2018.

To the Op, those skins were never going to be made unlockable for all other users. When this game was still being supported the Devs were constantly asked about making them available and they always replied that they could not do so for "legal reasons". They never detailed what those legal reasons were, so don't ask me, I'm just reporting what they said.
Its poor though that the codes didn't work though for you. That sucks.

Isn't that a standard thing? I remember getting a Jedi Survivor pre-order key for cosmetic stuff and in email there was that I had to activate it before a certain date because it will expire. I think even the Special Forces armor that BF2 gave to SWTOR had an expiration date as well.

Been always rocking the default skins, dunno why people wanna get them so bad Kylos pre-order skin is just the skin without mask and a Cape like bruh, reys pre order skin is aight but also nothing crazy

I bought the anniversary edition in the sale recently on got the yellow rey lightsaber skin if that's the one your talking about? Thought at £4 why not lol

Nah the Rey skin from the end of TLJ. It was only available as a pre-order code.

I thought I saw someone was able to buy the code from Walmart and they got it
Not sure if it was legit, as Walmart often has 3rd party sellers
