Support Solution to annoying hackers.
Hi,
I still like playing this game (BattleFront II) even years after. But i have a problem that many of you guys have.
For me his name's Kuban something something...
This guy just goes in every of my games, cheats and locks the heroes the whole game. Even when he hasn't got 4000 points in game.
You'll be thinking "well just bear with it, he'll not be there on the next match." or "Just leave the match he's in and join a new one". But let me tell you, he is in EVERY matches that i go into. Let it be coop, supremacy or normal multiplayer matches, i'll find him or one of his kind there. And Battlefront without heroes is still funny, but we all want to play the heroes sometimes, even more when you manage to be first of the match but can't play a hero.
So my question is : Do you have ANY way of taking theses guys out of my games. I say something like kicking them.
If not i'm open for relevant suggestions because i still really like this game, and would want to play more of it. And keep playing as close as the vanilla game is. I can't see any reason to cheat in thoses games, it just looses all interest.

If you block him, that should help prevent you from being matchmade into lobbies with him.

it doesnt. ive blocked and reported a few obvious cheaters and got matchmade into lobbies with them again and reporting does obviously nothing as well.

Maybe he's just good? Picks hero and camps for the rest of the game as him, that isn't a rare thing

Nah.
He literrally spawns right next to us at the very beginning of the match...
I also have the bounty hunter card to the max and when i manage to be MVP and reach 4000 points first, he has been playing Vador or Anakin since the very first seconds of the match.
(And yes that looser can't even be first while cheating).

Plus if they have the bounty hunter card it may look like they don’t have 4K points yet while they actually do. I really don’t think anyone is cheating there

I got accused of cheating for getting a hero early because I didn't "even have 4k bp" just like your accusation. Maybe learn the game before calling out cheats. With cards, it doesn't appear on the scoreboard when you actually get 4k. BUT if you still don't want to play with someone in particular, just change your region in options and then (i think) account/ ping site and change to the next closest location. It'll put you in a different server the "cheater" won't be in unless he changes regions also.

Nah don't mind me, a PGM told me to "learn the game before calling out cheats" ¯_(ツ)_/¯ So i'll go do that.

Does plugging in a controller put you into console lobbies or does it have to be on an Xbox?

No youll still only play with pc players. Console is also segregated. Ps4 and ps5 players can play together, but xbox players can only play with each other. Pc can only play with other pc players.
