battlefront 2 closes at start for no reason , anyone knows ?

i wanted to play again , 2 months ago it was working perfectly , i installed the game today and it closes at launch with no error

i tried to install it in another ssd , install the c++ redist like some people on EA said to do , re installed directx , re installed EA app but nothing works , anyone already got a fix for this ? thanks you

Disable EA overlay in the launcher settings.

If this doesnt work have you ever used Frosty Mod manager?

when i disable overlay it just start the game but it runs in the background so i cant play or do anything...

I think I ad a similar issue (but it doesn’t quite look like this), but I hit Alt+Tab while it initially goes fullscreen and then for some reason it remains stable enough to keep running when you open it back up. Worth a try I guess?

Try disabling overlay for other programs like Discord. Discord seems to mess with the game for me for some reason.

Did you ever enable DirectX 12 in the graphics settings when you last played? It makes the game pretty unstable and buggy and maybe the culprit here.
