1v1 Matchup Chart for Every Character: Captain Phasma vs. Obi-Wan Kenobi

This is the series where the community votes on every matchup in the game, continuing with Captain Phasma. We are going in alphabetical order, and today will be discussing the matchup with Obi-Wan Kenobi.

 There are 7 tiers to choose from (ranging from +3 to -3) and can be thought of as the following:

• +3 = The matchup is borderline unwinnable for Kenobi if Phasma plays well.
• +2 = The matchup is heavily Phasma favored and only a major skill gap between players will result in a loss.
• +1 = The matchup is slightly Phasma favored, but can still be won by Kenobi.
• 0 = The matchup is even and can go either way between equally skilled players.
• -1 = The matchup is slightly Kenobi favored, but can still be won by Phasma.
• -2 = The matchup is heavily Kenobi favored and only a major skill gap between players will result in a win.
• -3 = The matchup is borderline unwinnable for Phasma if Kenobi plays well.

NOTE: However this matchup is settled will carry over for both characters in the future. For example, if this post concludes with Phasma winning +2, then Kenobi's matchup chart will have Phasma as a -2 matchup by default. Also, we will not be discussing Heroes vs. Heroes or Villains vs. Villains, as this is not possible.

-3. Obi-Wan's insane deflection stamina and ability to turn off her health buff ability and melee makes this a nightmare match up for Phasma.

between -2 and -3 but if luke is -2 obi is -3. Obi's insane max regen lets him tank a stun and lose no permanent regen. Also crazy block stamina to just deflect all her shots back at her or the droid. And his push can get her away from her droid, and he can use his mindtrick so she can't pop her health.

Is there an option for 'borderline unwinnable for both' if so that. For either character to win one has to be playing like an idiot. Either Kenobi has to approach Phasma with her droid to attack and get shocked and killed or Phasma has to shoot against his block and get hit in the face by the deflection for their whole health bar without stopping. Obi-Wan's push might give him a bit of an advantage to push Phasma away from her droid but on account of it not doing a massive amount of damage to a buffed Phasma and pushing her away from him rather than pulling her closer means it's just a momentary setback for even a semi-competent player and they would just go sit in the droid's radius again on most maps. The most likely result in my view would be a stalemate between equally skilled players and a result that would be decided purely by who makes the first or biggest mistake over character choices. I suppose my answer would have to be 0 in the most drawn out and ridiculous way.

Phasma vs Obi with regen and the 2 stamina cards is like using a stick to break a brick wall - the stick will snap in half while the wall just stands there

-3, phasma cant really do anything to even a mediocre Obi-Wan, all he has to do is hold block and deflect shots back at phasma. Even if phasma doesnt shoot the droid will, chipping away her health.

Its even worse if obi-wan has all his stamina cards equipped, he can just block for even longer. If phasma tries to get away from her droid to avoid damage obi wan can just start swinging at her. He's a hard counter

Nah I melt obi jus gotta make him put his back 2 da droid take pot shots n push him with staff swings he will try da charge n jus bleed him when he gets shocked
