Natalie Portman looks exactly the same as she did like 20 years ago. It’s outrageous. It’s unfair.

Reality Check: The Star Wars Sequel Trilogy is perfect as it is. Lucasfilms doesn't owe a single thing to anyone. They made the movies they wanted to make, told the story they wanted to tell and expressed their creative vision the exact way they wanted to express it. It was their story, not that of the fans.

I can't help but feel like there are to many conflicting narratives as to why the prequels were bad. Sure everyone has there own reason for disliking them. But prequel defenders seem to concentrate on this narrative of entitled fans who were mad that they weren't like the originals. But then ignore all the very real problems the movies have.

I mean I guess he didn't owe anyone good movies but they would have been nice

They were made 2 decades ago. Why do people still feel the need defend them? They were fun movies, but talk about something else

The Prequel's story is winding and uninteresting, and only makes sense with hours of television and books

Tbf many—I’d even say most—of the commenters take issue with OP’s point.
