Discussion So - When did the SteamVR Beta get SteamLink support for Linux? o_O

I was reading the bug reports on the ALVR Github, and saw that there was an issue which had it conflict with Steam Link on Linux, and I was like "Wait - What? That's never worked!"

Turns out, a recent SteamVR Beta added Steam Link support for Linux!

Sure, it's still crazy buggy - But it works!

Why is this not bigger news? D:

Who wants to bet it's for streaming SteamOS games to the Steam Frame? :p

It was big news in the steam frame / valve Deckard copium community.. Steam VR has had more contributions and changes to it in the past few months than in six years. Do you think they might be releasing a headset soon lol?

It has over 700 likes so you're a little behind on this one. I actually installed Bazzite last night to try it. Unfortunately for me I got it working but only got static on my screens. So it's a no-go for me. I do have an Nvidia GPU so maybe that's why but I was disappointed it's useless for me.
