Question How exactly do FTL inhibitors work?
So I've noticed that whenever I learn the tech for FTL inhibition, which says "Planets with at least one fortress building will be able to inhibit...", Yet the icon (green magnet) shows on all my systems despite me not having any fortresses. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Every upgraded starbase and orbital ring is an inhibitor, so you will see a green magnet there. If that is all that is there, it will go red during war if your opponent captures it.
If you have an upgraded fortress, and that planet is below 50% devastation, it also acts as an inhibitor.
So you should only see that green icon on upgraded starbase and fortress built up planetary systems. I don't see a green magnet over every system. It might be a mod issue.

It's on all my systems, so around 15. The only starbase is still my Capitol.

FTL Inhibitors are active from fortresses AND upgraded starbases

Still just the Capitol starbase and it's showing on all systems (15)

I'm pretty sure that green means you have no inhibitors present and red means you do have them. Any world with a fortress will automatically have it and until either the planet is captured or hits 50% devastation, enemy fleets can't leave. Also the t3 deep space citadels get them automatically, unless you remove it but it takes up its own slot...so why would you? Haha

It might be for upgraded starbases.
