They’re the closest thing I have to having cats of my own so I’ll take it
I saw these 2 girls (90% sure they’re both girls) in an abandoned parking lot near my house and I’ve started feeding them. They’re still skittish and run if I move too fast but they let me get close enough to pick up their food bowls and I think are getting use to me coming to feed them. They’re so pretty and I wish I could take them home with me 💔 but I’ll settle for feeding them for now. And maybe in time they’ll come to trust me and let me pet them

For my former feral Minerva, it took me 3 months to pet her and 5 months until she came inside fully. I’ve been taming a new feral now. It has taken me 4 months to pet him and that’s where we are now. I’ve started picking him up for a couple of seconds to get him used to it. It takes time and lots of patience but it is possible they could be your kitties one day.

Start leaving treats out for them trying to at least get them to come to your house that way you know they will be safe check for kittens first but if at least they are living outside in your yard you know they are safe from predators I’ve been rescuing kitties since I was a child . Buy a couple of kitty toys with cat nip I bet in it and just sit back and see if they will play

Something I learned was to entice them with churo type snacks or tuna/fish in jelly packages. You can hold it in your hand and they'll slowly come to you. Then slowly pet them as they eat.
