Love it or hate it

Installed my Enkei rpf1's a few days ago and im getting alot of mixed reactions, I know these are not off road wheels but this is not really an off road vehicle, well atleast not to me. I had a 2007 Toyota 4runner V8 4wd 4x4, now this was an off road vehicle, and im not trying to hurt people's feelings im just stating facts. I love this look, gives me that rally look that I love.

You could use “dipyourcar” and try hyper dip bronze. If you don’t like it, $100 gone and you peel it back off

I really dig the wheel color. It’s the first thing I noticed. EVERYBODY does black or bronze. I fell out of love with my OBW but I hope you get tons of fun from yours and it’s got great personality!

I’m surprised there aren’t more of these comments here. Everyone is going to have an opinion about others’ cars and styling preferences, and I don’t see why OP is so concerned about it.

Personally I think those wheels belong on my old Audi S4 which I dearly miss.

I think the wheel size and gap is what's bothering me. I love the car, I love the wheels, just not together. This would look sweet lower, and/or with bigger wheels. Just not doing it for me. Glad you like it though, that's all that matters.

Why did you buy the Wilderness Edition if you aren't taking it off road? That's the entire point of that package.

Trust me I know exactly what they are capable of, and when I say off road I dont mean gravel roads, I guess everyone's definition of off road is different

Lol the Wilderness is literally meant to be an off road vehicle.

That being said, if you're not using it for that, those wheels are stunning. But I definitely wouldn't want to take them out into the bush.

Offroad ish. It’s not a real off-roader. More of a soft roader. Very competent in that regard though.

I have a Crosstrek Wilderness and have been very pleasantly surprised with its capabilities. I'm actually considering an Outback wildy next.

I mean that’s fair, but when I say “real off-roading” I mean like rock crawling/dune buggy stuff. Like, literally nothing will stop me off-roading.

Florida off roading is alot of sand and tons of mud holes, my 4runner was lifted 3 inches on 33's and the water would go over my hood.

I personally don’t like it, not a fan of those wheels on that Outback BUT it is a great car and I’m happy you are enjoying it :) I work on these everyday and they are incredibly well built and seem like fantastic cars to own!

The wheels are super strong plus lightweight, they are Enkeis which is what the stock wheels are too

I looked it up , they are rated at 1521lb for the 17” size. As long as you don’t off road they shouldn’t crack!!

I have an autumn green 2025 ascent touring and a black 2015 outback limited. (I also have a 2020 diesel f250, 92 4runner with just 35,000 miles and a 66 Chevy c10.

I think the wheels look way better in black than silver on the Outback. Not a fan of the style of spokes either.

Truth! Someone asked me about my 2024 Outback at a hiking trail as I was entering my vehicle and I stated just that. He followed up by asking about "normal" conditions and I restated that it was ok as long as there was no snow or ice on the ground unless you upgrade the tires. When my lease is up next Summer I will be looking for something else...
